What a delicious home cooked classic meal, highly recommend! Only in the area for a few days and went once - Wish we could’ve gone for a second time.

Being redeveloped and decorated so unfortunately no food till Sunday, but still a nice welcome in s good pub.

Great food and really friendly service. We enjoyed our meal that was freshly cooked, during the whole experience we felt very welcome and relaxed.

A group of 11 of us had lunch at The Kings Head on Wednesday 15th December. A warm welcome and lovely service. The food was delicious! We'll be back!

Really lovely helpful staff, I had to change our booking and that was no trouble for them. No dogs inside but plenty of outdoor space with heaters. We went Sunday, you have to book for roast and the portion size was decent and tasted great 👍

Very enjoyable lunch in the garden today making the most of the late summer sun. Really nice bacon and brie sandwich with salad and crisps. Freshly cooked chips for the other half, with ham and eggs.

Had a lovely couple of days here, the place is spotlessly clean and Pat was lovely and very helpful with her directions. Definitely want to go back. Had a meal at the pub that was excellent. Thank you for having us.

We had a Sunday lunch for 4 adults and two children. The portion size was very generous and the meal was first class. I have not had a better Sunday lunch away from home. The beef was tender and cooked perfectly, the roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. The veg was cooked really well and the gravy was better than home made. Overall this is a fabulous place to eat, the location is wonderful and I will be back.
