This is the loveliest little tearoom! What makes it are the staff, specifically the lovely Irish lady who couldn’t do enough for us. Although the large scones were sold out she made it her mission to get us a just as lovely alternative and was so attentive. Really recommend.

Best service imaginable! They offer to you what you need before you know you need it! Kindest owners ever and they even make all their own food, pastries included! 5 star cuisine with 5 star service! Definitely going again, actually in just a few weeks for someone else's Birthday! Highly recommend. Oh and they offer gluten free options too! Didn't ask about vegan/veg but I'm sure they'd do their best to accommodate.

This place is simply wonderful! My friend and I were meeting after having not seen each other for 3 years. We had the most amazing afternoon tea! The sandwiches and cakes were so delicious and fresh. We had lots of tea and fresh coffee refills, and even a little bottle of prosecco to celebrate. All the little details were lovely, from fresh flowers to vintage tableware. The atmosphere was so relaxing and the owner and staff made our visit so special and memorable.I came from Birmingham and my friend Taunton, and this made the perfect half way stop. To be honest, I will be making the drive again to Minchinhampton just to take friends and family there as it was so good. The tables were full when we went so I would recommend booking. Thank you again!!

Warm friendly welcoming to everyone. Excellent service and happy team. Great atmosphere for a spot of tea as well as lunch. Loads to choose from for sandwiches. The toasted Goats Cheese, Bell pepper and olives was a unique treat on brown bread. We loved venturing out here. Thanks team!

A lovely little tea shop to while away a few hours with a friend. A brilliant pot of tea that was piping hot, something simple that the majority of cafes don't do well but The Kitchen does. I can see myself returning often.

Only stopped for coffee which turned out to be a big mistake as the food smelt and looked wonderful. The coffee was really good as was the service, you couldn’t meet nicer people.Plenty of space and tables, I am definitely going back for the breakfast at the earliest opportunity.Halfway through coffee there was a chorus of ‘moos’ and as we had a window seat, we could see a number of cows ambling up the high street.I also met some more cows on the way home. Not something you see every day!

Such a lovely tea room, the staff are so friendly and welcoming.Even though we hadn't booked for afternoon tea we were still found a table and given a great choice of sandwiches and cakes with 2 pots of tea. Would definitely recommend.

We took our daughters for afternoon tea to celebrate 16th birthday. It was amazing, the owner was so attentive and nothing too much trouble. Cake, scones and sandwiches were lovely, and they packed up leftovers for us to take. Thank you !

Wow! What a lovely, lively tea room. The service is great - very sincere and charismatic, the lady with the Irish accent buzzes around at 100mph (and talks equally as quickly) but is welcoming, charming and comes across as a very kind hearted lady. The tables are nicely distanced and the location is clean and tidy. We had the afternoon tea and cannot recommend it enough, but the lunch menu and sandwiches looked equally as good. Genuinely a worthwhile detour if you're anywhere near this area.

We had an afternoon tea here whilst on holiday, it was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. We even had to pop back one more time before we left for some more of their cake! I'll definitely be recommending The Kitchen to others!
