Very family friendly! 2 different back garden spaces make this a wonderful place to visit on sunny days! Especially with kiddos!

Great staff, lovely warm, cosy pub. Quiz was a giggle and glad I have finally made it inside the pub for the first time ever.. Great night, thanks to all staff and quiz organisers and the quizzers too!!

Great local guest beers, colourful and relaxed vibes, friendly pub dogs, delicious pizzas and a dreamy schedule of live gigs, discerningly curated by Lotte and Miles. What more could you want from your local?

Great place for live music (though nowadays post Covid they charge entry for live gigs). Small venue. On street parking.

Warm, friendly and welcoming. Nice selection of standard and local drinks. And of course their range of freshly baked pizzas - try the 'nice and spicy' - it might just blow your socks off.... Pop along (take your dog if you like) and enjoy yourself... Recommended for sure

A nice, slightly quirky, definitely welcoming pub. Will have to return on a night they have musicHad a good pizza, not like most. My partner had a veggie burger, and they did a good job despite their bun deliveries having failed!Gender-neutral toilets, so must be good.

We had a wonderful evening of tasty pizza and delicious beer and wine in the new garden at the Albert. They've done a fantastic job of it over lockdown, and lovely to see the pub open again with its characteristic wit and friendliness by the bucket load.

Amazing local pub. Friendly bartenders as well as patrons. We were in town during their annual Beer Fest and it provided a wide variety of real ales, ciders, and perries to go along with an eclectic bunch of live bands and a couple of local food vendors.
