Stopped in for Sunday Lunch whilst visiting friends in Brimscombe and enjoyed what I think is the best traditional roast lunch I have ever had in a pub. Outstanding.

Since The Ship Inn has undergone a revamp with new owners, it is so much nicer than before! The lunch menu offered many options. I had chicken breast with homemade bubble and squeak and roasted shallots - the chicken was alittle dry but otherwise it was very nice. The barmaid cum waitress was friendly and helpful.

Just had Sunday Lunch at the Ship Inn for the first time and what a treat it was. Best roast dinner we have had in a long time and the most succulent beef ever. Dark chocolate brownie was delicious also. Will definitely return 😊😊

Really lovely pub. The new owners have made small changes that have really improved the layout. We hadn't booked for food but, even though they were duly booked for the evening, they managed to squeeze the for our us in. Food was superb and a great selection of local ales.

Went for early evening dinner as staying nearby. They were amazing - managed not only to squeeze our booking in, but managed to juggle things on the night so that we didn't have to dine and dash. Despite being indecisive and not easy customers... Fantastic customer service and the food was delicious. Popped in for lunch the next day and received same impeccable service. Highly recommend!!!!

Been there twice this week since it reopened. Worlds apart from the last management. Great choice of beer, friendly staff and incredible food. Only downside was that we were so full from the roast dinner we couldn’t fit a pudding in. 👍
