The Stagecoach Inn in Stroud

A very good meal. have been before. lovely atmosphere in a really nice old Inn.

Decor was Like going into a time warp. But steak pie tasted amazing. Staff were friendly

Stopped off on the way to Tarbert for a drink and something to eat, the pub is signposted from the road otherwise you wouldn't spot it as its down a single track road about 3/4 mile from the main road.Well worth a visit, beautiful spot and the food is very good, would definitely visit again when next in the area.

Randomly found this place and it was very quiet. Placed next to a large lock with great views.They lady there was very nice and helpful.We had the steak and ale pie and it was gorgeous.Also had a great choice of booze there so enjoy

After the year we have all had, we just wanted somewhere to chill and recharge the batteries. The staff at The Stagecoach ensured we had a fantastic, four day, extended weekend stay. The locals were also very welcoming and we enjoyed a bit of Craik over a pint or two in the bar. The Trossachs just seems to live to it's own particular heartbeat, and we left feeling refreshed and ready for the struggles ahead. I can't recommend this idyllic hotel, it's staff and visitors highly enough. And we will be back.

Really good traditional Scottish style pub food, like Cullen skink, scampi and chips, fish and chips etc. Couldn't ask for better. What lets this place down us how unwelcoming it looks from the outside. You wouldn't guess it was in business, in fact I would have driven past if I didn't know it was there.

Lovely views of Loch Fyne, very quiet and peaceful. Really friendly and helpful staff. Nice selection of whisky. Comfy bed. However the place needs some investment to fix and update the whole hotel, as this would be worth a drive to stay here.

Nice enough for overnight stay. Room was a bit dated, bedframe badly marked, some appliances could be updated, but ok for passing through. Evening meal at dinner was delicious, breakfast was a little bland.Beautiful setting, views were stunning. If appliances were better, I'd have given 5 stars. Friendly staff too.
