The Tipputs Inn in Stroud

Lovely pub. Food very nicely presented........but...... Meal very very greasy.... Wallowed in fat... Not healthy...... Lovely flavours though...

Has a lovely meal here, really recommend the lamb main course, we had to wait a little but it was well worth it. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, really friendly welcome. Will visit again soon.

My wife and I used the Tipputs Inn as a venue for a ‘wake’. We cannot tell how how much we appreciate the perfect service, beautiful venue and great food.Special shout out to Mea who was wonderful, but I am sure she would say she the ‘front’ of a team!Really… thank you to all of you. You made a difficult time, much easier.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious food in a sunny garden. One of the best Sunday roasts I've had. Nice to have a mixed roast with a variety of meats and a lot of tasty veg. Excellent.

After spending a great day at Bradford on Avon for the green man festival we called into the Tipputs Inn on the chance they could fit us in. And they did! Very friendly accommodating staff, found us a table straight away although very busy. Meal was excellent. Reccomend the lamb and rump steak.

Best burger in Stroud. My partners food also looked fantastic... all 3 courses!

Absolutely love this place! Best place to eat locally. Highly recommend the haddock! Lovely staff. Couldn't fault it in any way 5 stars!

Booked a family Sunday lunch and due to staff shortages, we had to wait over an hour for our meals. Despite politely reminding staff, we felt stuck at the back of the pub and clearly they'd forgotten about any level of service. There was a lack of apology, we were even told that they'd decided to serve a larger party first. Bit of an insult really, as a good kitchen should know how to manage this professionally. We were not offered a discount for the disappointment and inconvenience. The vegan roast was dry and hardly edible, and staff were disinterested in the feedback.

Shared mixed tapas and several starters for a meal @ lunchtime.. paired with their own beer. All freshly homemade food and beer was very well kept. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Pub nicely decorated. Will definitely be back

Overall. Really good. Dodgy music selection. I’m not used to explicit grime at lunchtime.Aside from that. Would go back. Friendly service. Really good value for money food. Nice ducks.
