Upper Lock Cafe in Stroud

In a great location next to the canal at Stroud. Excellent food and generous servings. Very friendly staff. Really enjoyed our jacket potatoes with tuna mayo! Would definitely eat there again.

Great place for a nice panini and coffee, good ambiance and would be nice to sit outside by the canal side in the summer. Recommended. Will return

Small friendly cafè. Lovely breakfast at affordable prices. Lovely situation right next to the lock and the towpath walks. The Cotswold Canal Trust museum/info centre is right next to it.

Lovely cafe, we were served quickly with BLT sandwich and tea, both nice. Helpful staff, we will visit again.

Awful experience! Waited almost 40 minutes for a panini which cost £7.95! Not worth it at all, the panini was barely cooked and had almost no filling! Staff were also trying to turn people away at 14:30 despite the cafe being empty. Do not go here!

Just along the canal from Five Valleys Aparthotel, this is a great place to sit and enjoy a canal side cuppa. As the name suggests it's right by a lock and is only a short walk into town.

Great coffee and cakes..food's lovely too. Sensible prices and nice canalside location. One of my faves!

Lovely little cafe. Tucked away behind the canal visitors shop. Good selection of cakes, sandwiches, toasties and jacket potatoes. Staff were very attentive. Would definitely revisit.
