We had my wife's 80th birthday bash here on Feb 20thThere was 16 of us, many different meals ordered, some people having 3 courses some only 1. This was no problem for the staff , we were looked after extremely well,We will certainly be back.All my party were impressed with their meals and the helpful staff..The food was well presented and was excellent.

We came here last night to watch Robbie Williams Tribute and meal. It was a great night. Me & my partner stay in our motorhome in car park and it’s free as long as you have at least a drink or meal. The food is lovely, very pleasant and helpful staff. We have been here several times. They also do a fabulous cooked breakfast. They love dogs so you bring yours into pub. They also have a fish & chip shop, Chinese and Indian attached. Also a pizza parlour separate. So there’s something for everyone to eat. Always look forward to coming here.

Visited here recently for a birthday meal. Highly recommend the steak. King prawn linguine was ok but seemed to have a few normal prawns with no king prawns present. It was well presented but was not particularly flavoursome. The pan roasted lamb rump was disappointing, more of a roast. The “rosemary jus” was gravy, and the “potato dauphinoise” was replaced with roasted new potatoes.If I returned again I think the steak or perhaps the pie would be the safe choice.

Nice place to meet friends for food and a drink. Sunday roasts are legendary. Update - had a walk in meal tonight. Requested a few changes to menu items with no problems from waiting staff! Thanks!

Stayed in the carpark in the motorhome. No facilities but fine for a stopover if you are self contained. Pub staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. They love dogs! Had a very good evening meal and they did a full English breakfast just for us the next morning.

This is a great place to eat drink it has English food in the whitminster and also a Chinese and Indian restaurant and we eat mostly at the Indian which is brilliant and drink in the whitminster bar occasionally I love it there 😊

Had Sunday roast here with the family a few times while we were in Eastbourne.The food was better than average for a roast, would be happy to go back. The service and staff were lovely.One negative is if you are driving, parking near here is a bit of a pain. You will have to drive around the local area to find somewhere to park and have a little walk.
