Ordered at 8.41 arrived at 8.58, so the delivery service is amazing! Food was obviously temp wise hot, the actual taste of the food was good too although the chilli beef portion is a bit small in my opinion. Nonetheless amazing Chinese!

Best shredded chilli beef in Swindon

·

Food took 1hour 40 minutes to arrive, however, was edible..

Always lovely food! Go to Chinese takeaway in Swindon! Especially the duck

Disappointed with the inside. Plastic stock every where, old settees to sit on whilst you wait for your order. Worked here some years ago so; nice bench seats removed in waiting area, hot plate for drivers food for delivery not on poor maintenance in general. Food was hot and OK but no idea of the state of the kitchen.

The food was a little late but it was amazing. Nice and hot, very tasty and thank you so much for the vegetarian options! Specially the "duck" it was delicious!

I always check the restaurant reviews and rating before ordering the food, and after looking at this restaurant’s rating I was a bit sceptical, But I was proven wrongThe food was amazing, great flavours and good portions size. This is our new favourite Chinese takeout. We will definitely order again!!

I’ve always believed the sign of a good company is not how they act when things go well, but how they react & handle things when things go wrong (as they will occasionally do).Despite having ordered 14 times previously with Beijing Chef, we will never order again. Never. Tonight we’ve experienced shocking service, the likes that does not deserve any further business. We had in our possession a menu from Beijing Chef. I called them directly at 7pm (knowing they keep more money if I book directly rather than through Just Eat). In that call I ordered a meal for one plus a few other items for my husband. I categorically listed the items of the meal for one individually and said “if you need the number, it says on my menu, it’s A2” The lady took my order and repeated back to me my order by individual menu item, NOT by menu number (you wouldn’t do that anyway?). It was correct and they said delivery would be 50 minutes.1 hr 15 mins later, we took delivery giving a £5 tip but quickly noticed our order was incorrect. We phoned straight away. At first they thought the delivery driver had mixed up orders but later realised the lady who took the order had got it wrong..... Despite ordering by individual item and her reading back to me the individual items of my order, apparently the code for that particular meal combination had changed and instead of identifying that change and making me aware they didn’t do that meal anymore, she ignored my order for the individual items and ordered by menu number instead which no longer matched. What resulted was confusion and a meal I wasn’t expected or wanted and crucially, contained ingredients I am intolerant to!The manager initially acted professionally and apologised, explaining what had happened and confirmed a new order would be despatched immediately. Great! Despite my initial annoyance, we understood and were happy to wait the 15 minutes they said it would take. However, 35 MINUTES LATER (and very hungry) we received a call to say the “boss” had disagreed and said they wouldn’t send out a replacement order!!!! The “boss” considered it was my fault 😧 and wouldn’t send out a replacement order. By this time, our original wrong order was sat stone cold on the porch whilst we waited for the promised corrected order. Another 30 minutes were then wasted arguing points & iterating how wrong this was and yet the Manager still persisted saying the “boss” had said no! 🤯 I asked to speak to the “boss” but he/she never came on the phone. This continued until 9:20pm, by which time 2hrs 20 mins had passed as well as our hunger & so I gave up trying to get a replacement order & persisted in asking for our money back. The cold food (promised to be replaced) sat on the porch & contained food I am intolerant to & so there was no chance of us eating it. The answer was still no and the phone went dead (I don’t know if they deliberately put it down on me or not).Incredulous & angry, I looked back at how many times I’d ordered in the past by checking my emails. I was furious my loyal custom had been treated this way over a smaller than usual £20 order. I called back to reiterate my frustration & to point out how many times I’d ordered with them over the past few years. Suddenly, the manager changed & explained that the boss had gone and so she could help me in the way she originally intended to do. She agreed to send out a replacement order....FINALLY!! 🤯Whilst I’m pleased they finally did the right thing, it isn’t right that it took so much exhaustive argument to get there & by the time our correct order arrived, it was 2 hrs 40 minutes later & we’d entirely lost our appetite!!That isn’t customer service, especially not of a loyal customer. As I said at the start, the sign of a good company is often how they handle things when things go wrong & under the direction of the “boss”, this was handled atrociously.Needless to say, our previously very loyal custom will be directed elsewhere in future.

Weve ordered a couple of times from here and it's definitely the best chinese takeaway weve tried as we like to try different takeaways. Its definitely my favourite place the food is so tasty and cooked perfectly.

Ordered from here Friday night placed an order at 7pm and it didn't arrive until 8:45pm. When it arrived the only nice thing about it was the crispy duck. The beef in the beef and black bean sauce was so chewy we couldn't even eat it. We ended up throwing most of it out. Very disappointing when you look forward to having a Chinese from a new place.
