Britz Fish & Chips in Swindon

We wanted local fish n chips for 12 plus seniors, they were able to provide skinless battered fish with chips & a selection of sides. Everyone enjoyed, we will be back next month as its a thing we will be doing each month. Thank you for your help

Nice food not a bad price, customer service is very good.

Only had a bag of chips which were nice, looked clean enough and pleasant staff.

Very poor service, left waiting outside for a good 30mins; but the just eat orders were coming continually without more than a 2min wait. Portion size are really small and even the larger size isn’t much better. I’m glad I went there to know I won’t be going again.

Poor Service. Don't know why they open and take orders then make people wait 20 min the rain esp. when there were people behind the counter not wearing masks.No please or thank yous. Fish always soggy with fat. Chips undercooked. Not made to feel welcome. Shan't bother again.

Priority given to "just eat" and like, and they kept on coming so the wait for us was very long stood outside in the cold. When our order was ready it was cold and over cooked. Our first time in visiting this chip shop and we will never visit again.

Had fish and chips. Food was fine but chips portion was tiny compared to our local chippy.

I forgot that we had ordered from here before, but we were running behind and had finished a food shop and wanted to quickly grab something to eat. We had to wait a good 10-15 minutes to even be served, let alone the wait for a standard chips and large chips - as you’ll see from the picture, there isn’t any difference in size, only in price. It’s really disappointing, but sadly the focus seemed to be on the just eat orders orders with about 6-7 people waiting outside for a good 20-30 minutes.Easy orders like this could have been processed quickly by the person operating the till, as when we were stood waiting, they were generally just stood about, like they were imposing a delay in orders without actually communicating to the customers.

Always used to be Highly recommended by my family. Called in last Wednesday at lunch time.ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING....A thin tail end cod plus skin no chips .I sausage and chips. £8. Had to wait outside in cold ..no one else in shop. Will not ever come again..Garbage....and what made it worse I had brought a friend from Malmesbury ....she was really disappointed.

What can I say, my family have been going here for many years and it has been great. But sad news times have changed these chips used to be the best you could ever get now they ain’t.They look like lunchtime reheats or later not fresh. They have either changed who’s in charge or something as these chip portions are shocking one is a large and one is a regular but I can’t tell which is which if I wasn’t so hungry I would count them lol see how many you get I total. Sad to say I will longer drive to get these once great chips guess the hunt is on for a new chippy.
