Chilli Shak in Swindon

Heard so many great things about this restaurant and was not disappointed! Both the food and service team were first class. We tried a selection of dishes with guidance from the knowledgeable waiter, all of which were delicious, but the fried lamb momos and Dhal Bhat Masu were spectacularly good. Well done Jayanti and team. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Booked for 9 of us to go for a birthday meal which was very straight forward. The staff are very personable and make you feel at home. The food is really delicious. Our particular favourites are the momos.

Despite the modest exterior, the flavour and presentation of our meal surpassed all expectations. This little gem outshines many other restaurants in Swindon - one of the very best, we will absolutely be back again and can’t recommend highly enough

My first visit to the Yak last night with a couple of friends, and found the food and service to be absolutely amazing, it was just so tasty and good, I just wanted more.It's a family run local place and they certainly know how to look after their customers.100% will be returning to try many more dishes.

I loved my experience here, at Yak Himalayan Kitchen. The service is great, food amazing. Coming from Canada, where Nepalese restaurants are rare, I was pleased to discover their exquisite cuisine.

Oh my god it's awesome! Great staff, great food and an adorable restaurant! You can tailor the level of heat to suit your taste. Get the Chilli Momo, it's amazing!

Really nice evening, staff were all cheerful, it was difficult to choose from the menu due to the fact even the explanation didn't explain what the whole meal would be. We all chose different meals and we weren't disappointed. We were asked how hot we liked our meal so it was tasty with spices and not to hot, everest lamb this was my choice of medium heat. I recommend to book as this will get very popular as there is nothing like in Swindon. We definitely will be back to try other choices.
