Amazing food as usual. Service could have been teeny bit better as it wasn't all that busy and we still had to wait for cutlery etc, but will definitely be returning and would recommend Toby Carvery if you are looking for somewhere that is good value for money, a quick dinner and good food! Keep it up!

Food was really good and great value for money. However why they don't sit couples and families with young kids in separate areas I just do not understand, it's not a difficult thing to understand or to do.Comment on the response from the owner:We were given a table in a quiet corner which was initially fine and we had no reason to decline the table we were given. However we did not expect that two families with young kids would later be seated right next to us. It showed a complete lack of thought by the staff. Given that we were a couple we should have been offered a table in a quiet area if that was an option.

Amazing food and very helpful hostess, didn't catch her name but it was a lady in her 40's ish. We didn't book and we went in the off chance we might get a table on a busy Sunday lunch time and she was ever so helpful and managed to find us not 1 but 2 as it was 8 of us. Definitely return again but this time I'll make sure I'll book...πŸ‘πŸ˜…

We eat here roughly twice a month and never have any problems. Good service and the carvery meat is cooked well. Rarely does the servery run too low of food.It can get busy when the offers are running in the app, but the carvery queue soon goes down. The breakfast is also good and cooked well. It is a must for us to stop here en route to a road trip.

Went for a meal here, had a really lovely experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were seated in quite a draughty place and our 10 month old was getting very chilly, but they were very accommodating and moved us to a warmer table which we really appreciated.

It was absolutely only ok. Meal was just a bit soggy if I'm honest. Went on a Sunday and the selection of sides was a lot less than other Toby's I have been to.The staff were quite polite aside from one bloke that was doing drinks for the tables, it was clear he didn't want to be there.Overall its only ok, no where near the standard of other Toby's I have been to, but for a quick meal it will do you the job.

Came for Sunday carvery and as is to be expected, it was very busy and there was a long queue for food, however, it did move quite quickly. The meat was lovely - I had beef and lamb. The roast potatoes weren't amazing but were perfectly edible. Most of the veg was lovely but the leek and cabbage wasn't quite soft enough for my personal taste. In all, a nice meal and pretty good value for money

Lovely food but really put off from people not wearing masks... Not just the workers{only 2 were} but at least 3 quarters of the diners were not and no it's not that they medically could not wear one. I do blame the government... Either make it a law with consequences or just don't make any rules if you cannot stand by them... Actually put someone in power who does know what they are doing and can enforce a law that we all stand by

Great food as always and fairly priced. But when I arrived I was turned away for "having no tables available".I then went outside booked a table online and walked straight back into the restaurant as my booking was approved instantly.Once I was seated at my table I looked around and noticed 4 empty tables surrounding me. And the tables remained this way for the duration of my stay.So unsure why I was refused a table to begin with. But hey ho. Still recommend going.

Decent place to take the kids, cheap and quick to get some scran. Not a posh place or a date night location. Even though plenty of couples knocking about giving daggers to all the kids everywhere. Definitely a family location.Food is amazing, drinks served on time.No complaints, staff were friendly and there to help. Ice cream is a winner with the Kids.
