Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar in Swindon

One week after our previous visit to a Frankie & Benny's we were at it again, this time in honour of our daughter's birthday and in the company of some of her school friends.Weirdly the menu had changed - cue price rises - but our server was just as helpful and seemingly oblivious to the general screeching and chaos that was our table.Once again, the mozzarella sticks were delicious although I have to say I prefer eating them to sharing them! One slight disappointment on the menu was the disappearance of my trusty lemon tart dessert, although the crumble shows signs of being able to fill the gap.Finally, after discretely asking the purpose of our visit whilst taking our order, our server also arranged an impromptu slice of cake for our daughter complete with a rendition of Happy Birthday.Hopefully, it will be a few more years before that sort of thing becomes cripplingly embarrassing and prohibited!

Decided to have dinner after the cinema and ohh what a bad Decision that was. Was seated and had to wait 20 minutes to be seen for food and drinks.We ordered 2 pasta dishes, we had eaten half before are drinks turned up.Very understaffed and not organised staff not given sections to look after. I work in the hospitality sector and I was embarrassed for frankie and bennys. I spoke to the duty manager at the time who really didn't seem bothered about is customers. Won't be returning anytime soon

The atmosphere and decoration is fantastic. Food is OK, but speed is slow. Don't order New York BBQ chicken, the children brest is too dry, the core is made from frozen, not worthy for money.The service is all right, but not enough smile. Consider it's Saturday for visiting, next time maybe better.

Only gripe was that my food had to be sent back as the prawns tasted under cooked but other than that the service was great and the restaurant was clean. We chose Frankie and Bennys as it was my daughters birthday and my husband is a fussy eater so we could put money on us all being able to choose a meal from the menu.Prices seem to have gone up since our last visit but then... i suppose everything has gone up in price lately.We enjoyed mocktails after our meals, something we don't usually do but we felt like celebrating.There is ample parking outside the restaurant and lots of disabled bays.Our server amy was pleasant, helpful and understanding.We will visit again soon.

Great evening impressive service. Been a while since I'd last been there. Pretty good! Think presentation of food could be better. And value for money is a bit on the downside. I'd say 3.5 stars but it doesn't allow half's

Lovely place , food was great along with atmosphere . The waiting staff could be a bit more attentive as had to ask a few times for the bill.

Amazing. Food was delicious, had my younger brothers birthday dinner there. Jenny C our waitress was amazing, super friendly and very helpful. They played music and brought out a cake we gave them for my brother to blow out. Overall wonderful

I had a lovely meal with my daughter for her birthday. The server was attentive & friendly, the food was lively & was a portions were a good size.

We arrived at Swindon Frankie & Benny's and our table was already set and ready for us. A lovely young lad called Dan took our order and had it back to us in only 5 minutes! Super speedy and friendly service and I cannot recommend highly enough. Was a perfect date night for my partner and I and we were both extremely impressed with the service we received from Dan.

We booked on the website just before leaving the house for a party of 5. There was no wait when we got there and our waiter (Amy I do believe but her name was not on the bill) was amazing. We did have a complicated order but she was super helpful and everyone got exactly what they wanted! Big thumbs up from us :)
