Spontaneous post rugby meal. Booked a table on line and ten minutes later wer were greeted by name. Fabulous service and exceptional food. The wine recommendation was spot on too. It won't be goodbye, more arrivederci!

I ordered pollo principesa and it was awful. Without taste not even a drop of salt on sauce. And the breast chicken only boiled and nothing.... Disappointed. Not gonna order from them.

Came here in a small group with Partners. The service was poor at best (wife had to go to the kitchen to ask where the food was after 90 minutes) then 2 out of 6 orders were completely wrong. Rather hope this was just a bad night.

Lovely little restaurant nice decor and nice staff. But unfortunately the food was a let down. The filleto rossini sauce tastes like puré gravy. No race of the madeira wine in it. I ordered pork gorgonzola and again bland and tasted like cream and it was lukewarm. Barely any cheese in it. Normally when you order gorgonzola you can smell it from afar. So bland. My daughter had milanese and it comes with bologna that tasted like butter for some reason. The calamari were absolutely tasteless and no salt in it neither!I wish I could say something different but it was disappointing.

Always a favourite with our family over many years. Informal yet professional atmosphere.Very nice meal, hot, tasty, just the right quantity. Served quickly, yet staff still took time to chat with guests and didn't seem rushed. Having learned the occasion was my husband's birthday we were presented with complimentary glasses of limoncello, which we greatly appreciated.Also loved the exuberant mosaic wall in the ladies loo!Could have done with the music turned down a bit but only a small point.

Always great food and service. This is one of the only restaurants we go back to time and again. Good portion sizes, and great wine, some local to where they come from in Italy, which is not always on the list. Ask what special wine they have, you will not be dissapointed. All the pasta dishes are superb. I can't recommend this hidden gem enough.

Great Sunday evening dinner with my mother. Starters vegetable soup and Bruschetta Fantasia delicious and ample. Pizza Vegetariana topped with plenty of juicy vegetables, and tiraamisu to finish. Cost £30. Great ambience and owner very friendly. (Nov 16)Update 6-Aug-17: I was delighted this Sunday evening to be welcomed back by the original owner Carlo on his first day back after a 6-month break. Having enjoyed the ambience over the years I look forward to seeing this return after the place had a bright repaint and rather stark white lights installed while he was away. I never personally experienced bad service but the atmosphere was not so warm without him.We were quite late so both just had the vegetable lasagna with mixed salad and tiramisu for desert, a delicious and ample meal for two for less than £30 - in fact my mother took away half her lasagna for tomorrow! I look forward to many more enjoyable evenings there, especially as Carlo says he will be bringing back some favourites to the menu. It is my favourite Italian restaurant in Swindon, which always makes me think of warm holidays in Italy.update 21-May-2019: Delicious vegan pizza tonight, and the risotto vegetariana was amazing too - just ask what they can do, even if it's not on the menu! Followed by lemon sorbet and tiramisu. Again under £30, amazing!
