Booked a table for 24th March, only to be told we could sit anywhere on arrival, fine, “any table?” “Yes any table is fine”. My grandmother who is not the most mobile chooses a table nearby, “sorry we’ve not cleaned this one, you need to sit somewhere else, you’ve picked the one table we haven’t cleaned yet”. Seemed to be the manager too…. Just clean the table? Surely quicker to give it a wipe over than making an elderly woman get up and fumble for another one? No sense from this woman. Super slow service, lack of pace with staff, tepid food, was offered extra gravy, took 10 minutes to come back so had already basically eaten the lot? Really disappointing when the restaurant was not busy in the slightest.

Tried the carvery for Sunday lunch and was disappointed. The food itself was fairly well presented, however everything including the gravy was lukewarm at best and it tasted very bland. The young girl cleaning tables kept reminding us every 10 minutes or so that there were only 2 staff members working the front of house and whilst they may have been understaffed, I didn't really come out to listen to other people's problems

We booked a valentines diner 2 weeks ahead of schedule. On arrival we were told the food wait was 45 minutes, and could be an hours wait, we had a film booked and we would of probably struggled to make our film but decided to stay as thought we wouldn’t of got a table anywhere else. We were then told the only seats were in the bar area. We then had no option but to leave. Very disappointed. Especially after booking well in advance.

Food took ages, half of us have received their food, other half waited another 15 minutes. When the rest of the food was brought to our table it was cold, I ordered the chicken ribs combo and the ribs where stone cold, chicken tastless. Would not recommend, one of the worst pubbs/restaurants I ever been to.

We do enjoy going to the Kembery, the atmosphere is nice. We both had starters that were nice, for main we had steak, which was cooked to perfection. Then dessert. The only thing we were not happy with was the chips you use. If decent chips we would of given 5 stars

We arrived to find a beautifuly decorated restaurant full of Christmas charm. The elves were attentive and helpful. Thank you Mr Claus for allowing them to serve us breakfast at such a busy time of year.

One barmaid was polite friendly and very welcoming, a real credit to your company. The duty supervisor however was more bothered about rushing my food to my table due to the fact I came in at 2030 and I could tell she wanted me out as quick as possible

Awful will not return. We went for a birthday meal 6 of us my husbands and my meal came out very small but everyone else's came out over half an hour after we had finished ours . It completely ruined the evening Staff were apologetic and had money back for there 4 meals but we had to sit while they all ate as they did us . They need to get there act together also half the menu missing .to make it worse it wasn't that busy and people who had ordered after us got seved before us

Had lunch here on Monday and it has to be one of the worst plates of food I've ever had the unfortunate pleasure of eating. The mixed grill was just sad and tasteless, with what was alleged to be a bit of steak, which was a tasteless chewy bit of meat.It used to be good here, but this was just terrible. One more thing that bothers me is that the young girl who served us, although very friendly and pleasant, asked us several times while we were ordering all the meals, if we wanted to "Upgrade" various things, now I know this isn't her asking this, but it goes to show the type of place it now is, where they are literally trying to sell you anything and everything they can, and they focus more on this, than getting a good plate of food out of the kitchen.Since I've last been, the prices have risen and the food quality has massively dropped.I certainly won't be visiting again.

Was on a work trip for 3 nights, stayed at Premier Inn with meal deal. Went there for dinner and breakfast. Food and service was good,
