Mandarin Fish Bar in Swindon

Usually the best fish n chips in Swindon something has gone drastically wrong. Cod batter soft dripping with grease chips not far from raw. Straight in the bin. What a shame

Found this little gem in the heart of Swindon town. I ordered a regular fish and chips with curry sauce. The fish and chips were delicious and the quantity of food was phenomenal. The only reason for the 3 stars is the curry sauce. It was so loaded with salt I had to throw it out. I will go back if I'm this direction again but won't ever consider the curry poison to compliment my meal.

The best kebab in Town Centre for me! Chicken wrap with some chilli sauce e is just gorgeous! By the way! Jumbo buttered sausages are lovely too <3

Had a home delivery Friday evening. Arrived on time and still nice and hot. Some of the best fish & chips we’ve had tbh. Large haddock was absolutely superb with very crispy batter. Chips very good too, not greasy at all. Very large portions so you won’t go hungry 😊

They dealt with my allergy brilliantly. Food was awesome - chicken kebab meat was so tasty and tender.

Great little chippy with good selection and excellent food. good value for money! Recomend!

Overall pretty nice. For one of my kids that doesn't like sausages she seemed to love the battered sausage. Unfortunately I thought the chips were a lil too greasy and bland.

I was staying overnight in Swindon last night and after a 4 1/2 jour drive from up north was starving, I took a walk from the hotel into the centre and smelt the fish and chips from down the road and instantly decided it was a fish and chips night, i followed my nose and it lead me to the trident fish bar. I was a chef for 13 years so I know good quality when I find it and I can honestly, genuinely say that the fish, chips and curry I got was, and when I say this, I mean it with every truthful northern experienced fish and chips lover bone in my body, that is was the best I have ever had, by the time I got back to my room it was still hot and super crispy, no soggyness or grease and the flavour of the curry sauce was outstanding.100% recommend this gem to every chippy lover iand the price for the quality is more than acceptable, I won't hestitate to return should I be back in Swndon.

Delightful family run business. Excellent fish in a very good batter. Chips OK without being exceptional. Freshly cooked kebabs as a popular alternative. Kitchen area spotless. Generous portions. Good variety of extras (we enjoyed garlic mushrooms and onion rings with homemade tartar sauce). My sister was very impressed by the cheesy chips. Cardboard box and a piece of lemon provided for fish; chips wrapped in paper. Mayonnaise and other sauces given in decent individual-sized tubs.
