Oh My Good Cod! in Swindon

Always ask for fresh chips but am given very dry hard ones which make me feel they have been sitting around for long time and not fried just before - very frustrating as dry hard chips are not appetising. Even though we ask for freshly fried chips it doesn’t happen which is a shame

Ordered a 30 quid meal and it was NEVER EVER DELIVERED HAD TO REVERT TO THE COMPETITION DISGUSTING CIRCUMSTANCES AND SERVICE AND NO RESPONSE. I WANT MY????? MONEY BACK

First and last time ordering from here... Ordered online with estimated delivery in 50 mins to 1 hr... Turned up eventually at nearly 2 hrs, cold and very disappointingly small portions; supposed to be large chips but were only just enough for one person (had to then cook our own oven chips to make up the meal) and large cod was the smallest I've ever seen. Rang to complain and was told the chips were small because they had ran out of large boxes!!! Seriously! Was offered a discount on my next order, but confirmed I'd never be ordering from them again.

First time ordering from Mr cod and will be my last time the food was absolutely disgusting the chips over half of them were black and bad and for the price I paid you didn't get much never again

This is our first time ordering from Cricklade Road. Was very disappointed ..Ordered a Peri Peri chicken wrap with chili sauce, all I got was Zinger fillets with hot sauce and few bits of lettuce and thick cut of tomatoes. Fries were not thick cuts..bits and pieces of leftovers.Peri peri chicken is different from crispy fillets!We usually eat with our Old Town Swindon branch..sticking to this branch ONLY!

The last time I reviewed Mr Cod (different store) I disliked it but after recently moving home and ending up near a different branch I thought we would give it another go. Our order wasn't too large, chicken burger, veggie burger, battered sausage, chips and onion rings. After waiting close to half an hour (nobody else waiting) we finally got our food. Unfortunately it was disappointing. It was just bland, the chicken was tasteless, the chips were too soggy. Onion rings were nice, battered sausage was also just standard. Won't be returning.

Food was mediocre at best. Chips was cold. No sauces given either.. wouldn’t return. Absolutely disappointed. With KFC and other fast food next to it this chippy won’t survive. Needs major turn around.

oh my their chicken wings are amazing. so full if flavour and likes them so much I ate 6 🤣 they are not skimpy either quite a bit of meat on them for wings. chips are lush also . will definitely be back for more!! highly recommend

Very polite staff and really cheerful! Food didn't take too long and was well worth it. Boxes of chips filled right to the top and everything was so tasty. Very good with children now my favourite place to go. Well recommended
