Original Stratton Tandoori Take Away in Swindon

Gave us the wrong order. wouldn’t take it back. The food we had been given was horrible. No refund… AVOID!

Ordered takeaway at 7.25pm was told 45min to an hour for delivery, at 8.40pm rang to find out where it was, got told food was ready just awaiting for a delivery driver to be available should be about 10pm so. Called again at 9.05 was told would be 10mins, food finally arrived at 9.20pm. Driver was courteous & said last customer was waiting for 3 hours for his food!The food was warm (not hot) won’t be using this takeaway again.

DO NOT ORDER HERE. They put chicken in my vegetarian meal which I've now ate accidentally (I've been a veggie for a few years now) , we phoned them up and they said there was nothing wrong with this. They none hung up on me without giving a discount. Also forgot a a couple of rices. Please dont order here, they are horrible

You have to understand, this rating is for the delivery service only!! The food here is first rate, and I would recommend this takeaway to anybody who wants go and get their food. I've ordered food 3 times in the last few weeks and it taste great, unfortunately we have had to wait over an hour for our order each time. Tonight was no different, even though when I ordered our food, I asked if we couldn't be last on the delivery list as it's not that hot when we receive it. The guy on the end of the phone seemed to understand and said we should receive it within 3/4 of an hour. Over an hour later we received our food which felt warm and I accepted it, but after taking it out of the containers it was hardly warm and I had to warm it all up in the microwave! I can't understand how they can get it completely wrong and not care about my concerns of our food not being hot enough to eat. The delivery driver was very friendly and courteous and seemed to understand our concerns, but obviously couldn't do anything about it. I'm happy to order food from here again, but I will go and get it from now on! As i said at the beginning, the food here is first class and i highly recommend this takeaway for your Indian cuisine.

Disgusting place. Raw prawn. Salad in a plastic bag. I wouldn't even give this food to my neighbor's dog. I do not recommend and advise against it.

Had some food delivered, it was shockingly awful and cold. Took it back to the restaurant where the chef was rude and tried to belittle me, finally got to speak to the manager who said he couldn't do anything as we ordered from Uber eats. They weren't interested so finally came to a deal that next time we wanted some food to go in and we would get a free meal and also £10 as a goodwill gesture. When we went to take this deal they denied it and refused to honour it. AVOID

Ordered through uber eats. Amazing food. Delivery took an hour on a Friday night, acceptable. Pilau rice smelled gorgeous. Just need to improve packaging as had leaked on delivery as said by previous reviewer.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Made to wait an hour for the food, it arrived crushed and inedible. Rung to complain only to be told, I would not be getting a replacement or refund.

Plenty of issues with delivery / Uber and I wouldn't risk it... I've always collected and the food is always hot and tasty. Another super meal tonight. Had I mix up last month, but this was fixed within 10 minutes.

The last few times I ordered from here, the orders were very late and or incorrect, I gave it one last chance and the final order was completely inedible, each piece of lamb I tried to eat was chewy and disgusting, and the rest was not good either. I was very dissaponted and will not order from them again. I did send an email to them give them a chance to explain or apologise but did not receive a reply. What a shame, their food used to be good a year or so ago but not any more.
