Perfect Fried Chicken in Swindon

Ordered from Uber eats, all the food is cold also missing separate order for chicken pieces. The pieces that came with the combo meals are tiny, dry and look like the driver has taken a bite on the way over. Had to leave a review here because you can’t even get through on the phones, guessing they are getting a few complaints tonight.

Had some chips here before they closed for the night and they threw in a few chicken wings for us. Great tasty wings with the added bonus of being free of charge - the wings are definitely worth paying for though!

Boneless box had barely any poppers, hot wings had no chilli in the coating (just a bit of pepper)

Not too bad good service nice choice of meals chicken was good not too greasy enjoyed the food ive been in many places around the uk so this is a ok one of them 👍

After reading the reviewz my expectations were high and I was craving some good chicken and chips. I was actually dissapointed. I don't know if I went on an off day, or because I went later in the evening, or it just wasn't to my tastes. The two bits of chicken were lovely and hot (happy to wait if its means they are made fresh and hot) but were very small bits. The chicken itself was well cooked but the coating was too peppery for me and had littlr taste. The chips were fine, but aside from KFC, this was the smallest ampunt of chips I had ever had from a chicken and chips shop. It is made worse becuase x2 chicken, chips and drink was over £5, far more expensive then I am used to, even KFC don't charge that. MAy seem like a small thing but my salt sachet was rendered a bit useless as they put it in touching the food so was all soggy. Staff were polite and friendly but I don't think one guy was paying much attention to my order having to check if it wad a meal or not. I didn't get a satisfying chicken and chips expetience and I am a bit bemused as most other people are raving about it!

The boneless chicken burger, strips & chips were incredible! The corn on the cob was out of this world! Very happy, will defo order again...tomorrow!

Have to rectify a review I made on Just Eat that I am still trying to figure out how to delete. The review in question was regarding Gregg's. They had cancelled my order twice after initially accepting it due to driver availability. Frustrating. They should not have accepted my order should they have had an issue getting a driver and they should not be offering deliveries to Bassett if that were the case... But my complaint is not in fact directed at Chicken Cottage. In fact I very much loved their food and will be sure to order from them again. The chicken was of good quality it came piping hot from its location and nobody went hungry. The fact they came so fast was even better. It was good chicken I will be sure to find them in person when I make a trek to Swindon some time soon. I am very sorry for the bad review I will delete it as soon as possible!

So my last review was scathing due to some problems that occurred but I recently received a phone call that seems to have set things right after a disappointing last night.I will praise them for very quickly dealing with the original issue and getting in contact with me about it, that's what good customer service looks like.Thank you Chicken Cottage for putting your customers first. That I really do appreciate it 🙂

Had a collection from Chicken Cottage this evening and it was perhaps the best chicken I’ve had. EVER. Chicken cooked perfectly. Hot wings were beautiful and tasty, not so spicy you can’t taste anything! Even the chips were great. Good size portions. Good and friendly service. Chicken Cottage is now my go to place in Swindon for anything chicken! Thanks 10x 🌟

The best chicken we've ever tasted. The coating is spectacular and the amount you get is more than enough. We ordered a family bucket and a boneless box and it was too much but nothing gets wasted!
