We were on holiday and decided to stop here for the Sunday roast. First the stuffing is amazing and the roasted potatoes were good.I ordered the post roast sandwich. It looked more appealing in the photo. Although it was tasty it had one piece of meat.

Food was decent, good selection to choose from. Was something for everyone. Reasonably priced drinks as well. All in all can't knock it.

On our doorstep but been going elsewhere lately so thought we would give it a go and we certainly were not disappointed, very welcoming, friendly, good atmosphere, very clean and tidy, menu is extensive and our food was excellent, great value for money all round, shame I was too full as I fancied a dessert so we will be back would highly recommend for all ages, keep up the good work Nigel & Team 👍😊

It's Friday and that means only one thing - Fish and Chips! Three of us had Cod and Chips, some mushy peas and curry sauce. I also had 2 slices of Bloomer, big mistake, it was stale. Big pieces of fish but chips were a bit sparse. Pub was quite busy, getting busier and where we sat it was noisy but that's part and parcel of Friday evening in the pub. Its a chain pub so don't expect too much. Good value and dare I say it, cheap as chips!

Good food, great prices and excellent range of drinks. The staff very friendly and helpful.

We had a very enjoyable time at the messenger, food was lovely and the service was excellent , my wife and her bf have decided that this is going to be their favourite for pub food ,excellent food and service 😀

If you gonna to eat here, you need patience because your food won't come out quick! Been waiting for my dinner for 1 HR & a half...NOT busy but very slow. Had to go back to work so had them box it up, Opened box and the Signature burger was soggy with grease under the bottom bap, bacon stringy, & French fries crisp but warm & tough.Not what I would expect from a Greene King!All reviews are honest.

The staff here are so friendly. I come in here with my elderly mum, and she loves the pensioners menu. Food is nice and just enough for a small appetite.Lots of space, and nice and clean.Thank you for making us feel so welcome 🙂

A bit busy. More of a sports bar than anything else. Good service but not so great a place to bring people. A quick drink is your best bet here.

Only come in for one pint and ended up there till closing time. Lovely little pub.. Dogs are also welcome in the beer garden. Also drinking water and boul. Been back 3 times for lunch meal food on each time has been bang on. Lovely friendly and helpful staff.. Tho I don't recommend the jacket potatoes. Microwaved not oven cooked
