Tandoori Flames in Swindon

Disgusting curry unfortunately. The order arrived cold and watery and we threw the whole thing in the bin. We ordered through just eat and neither them or the restaurant themselves were interested in helping arrange a refund. Terrible customer service too. Avoid

What can I say, delivery driver was very polite and the food arrived quickly and was hot. But that's where anything good about Tandoori Flames stops! The curry was very very salty, to the point that after a few mouthfuls I threw it away. I couldn't say how tasty it was because of the amount of salt in the curry. I checked the reviews online and there was more good than bad reviews, like you always get. A few did mention a salty curry, but with reviews you have to take the good with the bad and go for it for yourself. As most people who eat curries, I have bought hundreds over the decades and NEVER EVER had a salty curry! I can only assume the chef's do not know how to cook correctly, the owner should send them on a course to learn how to cook curries the right way! I won't be buying curries from there again, and I can't stress enough that you should stay away and not buy a curry from this takeaway, you will be wasting your money. You have been warned!!

Had a Chicken Madras, Pilau Rice and Bombay Aloo. ( Midweek )Madras was very good big pieces of Chicken and very fresh, not oily at all.Rice had a good taste.Bombay Aloo was very good, had a little bit of oil but this is easily poured away. Came with 2 free poppadoms nice touch.

Yet another outstanding curry great flavour perfect Nan and saucy Bombay potatoe best in Swindon can’t wait till my next one

First of all the delivery was late it was 1hour 30 minsAnd i have ordered butter chicken i think the chef should first kno what is butterchicken n den prepare it even the tandoori was tasteless very very very very disappointed with the order never going to order again 😡😡😡

was debating whether to bother reviewing this restaurant or not but i decided too as i have wasted money on food i’m not even going to eat! every aspect of the food we ordered was terrible. the poppadoms we’re stale, the curries were dry and lacked flavour, the naan breads were soggy and cold and nothing tasted fresh. the food came very quickly which makes me believe it’s just reheated. please do not waste your money. 0 stars if i could.

This place used to be my favourite go to curry houseHowever I have had two bad experiences now now. The first one one I ordered food which took over 2 hours to arrive, I was told the first time I called that it had left the shop,half an hour later it still had arrived and I called again to be told that it was just leaving the shop therefore I was lied to. This time around I've ordered on New Year's Eve I completely understand that the shop will be very busy tonight however I placed my order at 18:08 and was told that it would be a 2-hour delivery time which was fine.I then called the shop at 20:15 to ask for an update to be told i placed my order at 19:08,i told the shop I had email proof that it was placed at 18:08!I was then told it would be at least another hour. 3 hours for a delivery bearing in mind the shop is half a mile away but I cannot collect due to covid restrictions.in the end I ask for a refund. unfortunately I will not be using this shop anymore.

I had Chicken Dhansak and Keema Naan, also Chicken Tikka Marsala plus rice, really excellent, the Dhansak was one of the best i have ever had, true to the origins of the dish taste, texture and heat all bang on. We will certainly visit again.The staff were friendly and very efficient, 5 stars guys well done

The name is Tandoori Flames but the chicken Tandoori is worthless its only red colour on chicken and the chicken is old one not the fresh. The taste is sour totally waste of money and the mixed kebabs even though same. Waste your time with your money. Told me 15 minutes but collect by 25 minutes. I'm not happy coz I'm multi international chef it's not up to standard.

My girlfriend said that the samosas were THE BEST she's ever had (and she's quite a foodie)!!! Amazing customer service. The food was soo full of flavour, fresh and tasty. Both lamb and chicken were cooked to perfection. Definitely our new favourite Indian takeaway place! Highly recommended!
