Not our first visit, we have been several times for food an drinks and the service is normally first class thus why we return. However, our experience this time was not so good, we were unaware small children were allowed in the main bar area and for the duration of our stay we had 4 kids under the age of 6 running past our table and the whole dining area constantly. The onsite staff did little to stop this despite ours and other family's complaints. Very dangerous for the staff bringing out hot foot and drinks. The food was good but had to wait 35mins form time of order until we received. We will come again but avoid earlier times because if children are allowed to access all areas of the premises it could be carnage and not a relaxing environment.

Newly refurbished. Modern pub style with screened off pub and restaurant areas. Food pricing has changed from the previous two for one high price to everything a lot cheaper priced individually. Food service and quality remain high.

Waited 55 minutes for food that never arrived. Pub didn't seem that busy and there was quite a few people asking where their food was. Asked for a refund and was dealt with very professionally. Staff were pleasant, but frustrated at such a long wait. There was only 2 of us and we weren't made aware of any delays. Shame as the pub is very nice and the variety of food and drinks are really good.

Really lovely food, beautiful renovation, couldn’t fault anything. Food cooked extremely well, we were a large party and food came out at the same time. Price very very good. Had a birthday cake bought out and was no problem at all. Will definitely be revisiting soon.

First time back since refurbishment and covid. Went at lunch time. Pleasantly surprised. We ordered off the lunch time specials menu. Every thing was hot and well presented. Staff were friendly and service good. Place looks much better. Will go again.

Long wait for food and you were not busy. Peas missing off one meal and the mixed was inedible - 4oz piece of fat, gammon dry and chicken no idea and I think their should of been a egg? Lasagne - could of done with more pasta and meat. Classic burger - you would get more in a burger from a fast food place

Went here for a Christmas meal with my partner and we were very impressed. Starters and mains were all piping hot and tasty and the desserts were yummy too, all for a very reasonable price (£16.49 for 3 courses). The staff were also really friendly and attentive. The decor gave a cosy feel and it was nicely decorated with Christmas decorations throughout and a fabulous-looking tree as you walk in. I would go back here again.

Amazing pub, go here often with my friend, environment is rustic, food is lovely & portions are belly popping. Employees make the visit very welcoming. Garden is very nice after the reopening, timber pergola is beautiful and just an overall remarkable evening pub experience!

Dont eat here. Food is trash here. Burger patties are not fresh but from freezer. Cheese is not a chedar or mocarella. Everything that we have ordered was disgusting.
