Such a great lunchtime menu, great choice and real good value for money. I can highly recommend the veggie lasagne even if you are not vegetarian. Very friendly staff that work very hard 😊

Having eaten here on several occasions and attended the weekly quiz we decided to have our small wedding reception at this friendly pub.It was exceptional, and perfect for us.We chose menu options with Danielle beforehand and the food was excellent and brought out together with efficiency. Everyone was pleased with their choices and there were plenty of complimentary comments. Thank you chef.Thank you Danielle and the team and especially Sophie who laid out and decorated our tables. You all made our day!

Loved the tradition village pub who also catered for vegetarian and vegan.They were very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely going back

It's OK, tired and in need of TLC, a lick of paint, drawer liners, grout cleaner etc. A couple of the younger staff could perhaps benefit from some training. There are towels and bedding provided, I fear a competitor is messing with websites as a couple of places in the area say none are provided when there are.Important: Don't put address in Google Maps, it takes you straight through a bus only gateway off the roundabout, it would be nice if The Crown mentioned this on their website or when booking as they told me it happens to everyone and fines are being sent out. W3W: sprouting.headboard.rider is closer to the car park.Clean enough and the chips are good, some staff are friendly and helpful.

Called in for a meal. Service great. Food not expensive but good value and very tasty. All round brilliant. Very busy probably worth booking.

Welcoming and friendly staff - beer is always fresh and the food is always excellent. Great for an adult evening out or family dinner. Would highly recommend!

Excellent experience. Very good food, and when my granddaughter was unhappy with her meal because she had chosen a gluten free meal without knowing what it meant!!! Went out of their way to help her adapt it to her liking.Very impressed.would go again

Excellent pub and very friendly staffSunday is Quiz night which can be very tough and well worth a visit.The food is excellent value and of good quality.A selection of mains at 2 for £15. Good selection of desserts and a specials board too.Good choice of drinks and plenty of places to sit inside and outside.Will certainly visit again when in the area.
