The Five Alls in Swindon

We had such a lovely stay at the Fivealls last weekend (April 2022).I asked for a travel cot, an early check in and for a hypoallergenic duvet before we arrived and all of our requests were met.We had a very warm greeting on arrival, (in fact all of the staff we came across were genuine, caring and invested in making sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible).We stayed in number 6 (one of the garden suites) which was beautifully decorated, full of light, with a luxurious walk in shower, the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable along with the soft, fresh sheets. It was also a generous size - perfect for us with our 7 month old baby.We ate dinner in the pub which is cosy and inviting and smells wonderful, the food was of a very high standard, I had the steak which was a great cut of meat and cooked to perfection, my husband had the burger which he was also happy with.The breakfast in the morning was the best I’ve had, (bacon and sausage was particularly good), the pastries and yogurt were also a nice touch.We were a bit nervous about coming away with a baby for the first time, but our stay couldn’t have gone smoother, so we just want to say a big thank you and we would definitely return.

Pretty ok restaurant. Steak smelled good, but was a bit overcooked. Wine was not special.

I cannot rate the Five Alls highly enough. The ambiance was spot on, very welcoming to our group of 4 and 2 dogs. The food was outstanding, especially the duck liver parfait.Most importantly to us the host and hostess were so incredibly hospitable, they mentioned they had a busy weekend and some wines were unavailable and our hostess went to extraordinary lengths to ensure that she found wine to match our taste.We will definitely be back and will certainly be recommending to others.

The Five Alls is an incredibly nice and atmospheric place. The room was immaculate, with a fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were really lovely and attentive. We stayed here for our wedding night, and another night on top, and had zero complaints. Just be warned, there is no service whatsoever, so don't expect any calls.

Stayed for a wedding and the owner met us in the rain after midnight having waited up to make sure we could get into our room when the pub was closed. The entire team were really friendly and amenable, Good food, lovely rooms. Highly recommend

Excellent food, service 👍 Great Sunday lunch and bottle of merlot, definitely need to go there again sometime soon.

We stayed here and had dinner and breakfast. The room we stayed in was large, beautifully decorated with the comfiest bed. We had the most delicious meal and breakfast, with top quality food and presentation. However, the best thing about this place is definitely the staff. They were exceptional, couldn’t do enough for us and made our experience easy, chilled and we will most definitely be staying again soon. Especially the helpful tall lady who looked after us checking in and at dinner, and the charming chap serving us breakfast, He was just so lovely. It’s been many years since we’ve come away from a weekend away without one fault. This place is absolute gem.

Eatin here last night I was really disappointed with the steak and ale pie the menu states served with fresh vegetables.I got served a pie that was over cooked and not cooked fresh. For vegetables I had diced red cabbage and really bland mash.In all fairness I wasn’t charged for the pie but if they can’t serve fresh pie and proper vegetables then don’t serve on ur menu.Lovely pub very poor quality food.Been as honest as I can be.

Small and idyllic, extremely nice food from Romanian chef, Claire and Ernie very welcoming. Rooms very spacious and clean: highly recommend this charming place
