The Freke Arms in Swindon

Great food, great service and well priced. A really nice place I would recommend this to all.

Just want to say had a lovely meal at the Freke Arms this evening. The food was absolutely delicious, there was plenty of it and it was great value for money. The decor was stylish and the staff were friendly and efficient. We only live a couple of miles down the road from the Freke and have not been for such a long time, needless to say that is going to change and we will 100% be returning very soon

Very welcoming despite being busy and adaptable when our plans kept changing. I stayed overnight in my motorhome and the spot was lovely ~ saw some Red Kites flying over the van at one point and a herd of deer down the lane. Great place and the food was tasty. 😁

Food was good, service was shocking, 4 tables all crammed into one area when the rest of the pub was empty, turning away walk-ins saying they were fully booked when the place looked deserted. Steak with sauce served on a flat chopping board, waited half an hour for desert and drinks order to be taken and in the end gave up - I think the landlord/landlady were off and the staff were clearly making the most of it - dont think I would return based on this experience.

Arrived for a 12.30 pm Sunday roast, they were fully booked, by 1.00pm when our food order was taken, they only had enough beef for 2 of our party of 6. Waiter was a bit rude and abrupt. Food was tasteless. Wouldn't recommend

Excellent food.Service was on point , all the staff were wearing masks😷 and I felt safe with regards to Covid19.Would go again / recommend. 💜

Great food friendly staff great service definitely will be coming again

Amazing food, drink and friendly staff. One of the best around!

Got to say that the Freke Arms has taken a turn for the better. Before it was looking a bit tired but looks so much better since the change of ownership.I had the rump steak and it was perfect, our only critiscism was the steak ale bacon and stilton combination didn't in our opinion quite work. Presentation for both meals was supurb. Overall the menu is excellent and so was value for money. All the staff were very attentive and we will definitely return

Enjoyed a lovely evening here with great food. Will be coming again when we get the chance to have another date night.
