Good beer and food selection. Beer very reasonably priced. Always busy!

Meals are value for money. We were a table for 2. We waited a long time for a soup starter to come out and was told she was sorting out the big table but we had been at our table at least 30+ minutes before that table had arrived.

No stars at all. I'm nearly 73years old and I have to say that this is the worst room I have ever stayed in. The carpet was so dirty I had to put my shoes on to walk on it. Rusty bathroom radiator in broken toilet seat. Mould in the shower and when we arrived we were informed that there was no breakfast to be had . But that is nothing compared to the bed Ha!Ha! that was the icing on the cake. So by 4oclock we decided to get up and drive home what a lovely ending to our Valentine's night. So please be warned.

Only had a coffee, but was good. Liked the pub. Will visit again.

Lovely pub popped in last w/end whilst visiting would recommend the food.

Fantastic food and friendly service every time we go.

Lively, friendly place on Saturday nights when they have a live band. I stayed one night in one of the rooms and it was exceptional. The owner and staff were wonderful.

Bedroom 9 is in urgent need of refurbishment: stained carpet, black mould in shower and around windows, scratched furniture, dirty walls, very uncomfortable mattress, cheap pillows, ill fitting catch on door lock meant I couldn't get out of the room, no tea making facilities. Nothing like photos used to advertise this hotels bedrooms

Great old fashioned pub. Terrific pub menu, well priced and generous portions. Food and drink orders taken by often smiling young lady and I like that in an age when so many people are unhappy and outaged at the smallest of things. Thank you.
