The Sir Daniel Arms in Swindon

Grubby, but that tends to be a standard for Weatherspoons! Food was ok, not as cheap as it use to be. Drinks served in plastic cups for some reason (wine in a plastic cup is fine at a festival but not really on a quiet Saturday in town)

First time in Swindon don't do weatherapoons but thought quick n cheap.Long bar service, card machines not working so didn't order food.Staff spoke to me like nothing and were not helpful.Won't be going there for dinner again seems like a catyl market...🙈🙈🙈

Nice spoons. Friendly locals and staff. Service was quick and food good. Clean areas and toilets.

The better of the two Wetherspoons in Swindon IMO. Busy at times but still able to get a table. Quick service and friendly staff.

Lovely spoons pub, staff were excellent but the food order came out wrong, I asked for it to be rectified and I received a children's size portion as a second attempt. The staff were apologetic and refunded me. Needs someone new in the kitchen.

Nice pub, cheap prices, but could do with a few more bar staff on a Friday night.

Couldn't work the app so ordered at the till. Quick service, no queues. Food good. Tables on ground floor cramped when they are fully occupied.

Amazing! The staff were really friendly and was amazing with someone like me who hates talking to other people, the food was absolutely delicious and the drink was just as good. Definitely a family friendly place and a at a decent price as well. £16 for 2 main meals and drinks! Bargain!!

Big pub at the bottom of town centre. It was not busy when we went, plenty of tables to choose from. However the first three were not clean. The fourth table we tried had sticky smudges where it had not been cleaned properly. I ordered fish and chips, but was told they had no fish, ended up with a burger. Service was quick. Burger was reasonable, certainly much better than McDonald’s and better VFM. Only two stars awarded due to the amount of food waste on tables and the floor. There are nicer pubs a shot walk away.

I like this Swindon Wetherspoon, it's definitely better than the other one in town (The Savoy). It's lighter, brighter and just better. Food was good, and staff ok. Good value and nearest the station.
