Nice big and affordable pub with loads of outdoor space. I visited The Windmill over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend and was easily able to get a table indoors for 4 and nip outside to the large seating area for a smoke. The food was decent and well priced and the staff were all very friendly. It’s no gastro-pub hence the 4 stars - but frankly I’d visit here over an overpriced joint any day.

We had our wedding reception there a while ago, and it was amazing. Great food/ music was awesome and the staff were fab. A big Thank you to Matt who let us have our day there, it was one to remember and thank you for all that you done to make our day special. 😁 ..

Lovely food and great staff, it was a little off putting having to walk through drunk people watching football and playing snooker/pool to get to our seating area, to the toilets and then out again with children. It would have been better with the snooker tables in the conservatory and larger televisions to the back of the bar with the 'dining' area to the front entrance area.I really enjoyed my meal although 2 people in our group felt that the portion size was a little small. The children's meal our daughter had was a very fair size, she couldn't finish it all.A really nice clean outside area, although the decking will be slipper when it's wet, this is sign posted around the decking.

I visited this pub at the weekend, and the food was outstanding. The chef ( I think her name is Sharna?) did an amazing job. I will definitely be returning. The burger I had was the best in a long time- so succulent and you get 3 toppings with your burger! let me tell you- those toppings were delicious, the onion rings being a personal favorite. The salad was so fresh not like some of the shriveled up lettuce you get in other places- proper tasty!!

Compliments to the Chef! The food was absolutely amazing, best I’ve had in a long time. The Chef should be very proud indeed - I think the waitress said the chefs name was Charna ?Charna I ain’t ever eaten an onion ring quite like yours!Highly recommend !!!

Best local GK. Clean polished tables. Really clean cutlery wrapped in napkin.A sports bar with music at comfortable level for luncheon. Knowledgeable, attentive and smiling staff where you feel nothing is too much troubleHighly recommended for senior's lunches where portions are just right.

Had a lovely time on New Years day for a few quiet drinks and a family meal. Called to book a table but had to come a bit earlier due to an early closure. Totally understandable giving the current situation. Was well worth the visit and will be back throughout the year. The Pub is a much better place to be, food, service and drinks are all great.
