The Zaika Valley in Swindon

A great meal tonight at Zaika Valley. Some new dishes on the menu from what I would normally choose.We ordered Chicken Malai Tikka, chicken chettinad, chicken shashlik and butter chicken. The food was beautifully presented and all dishes tasted fantastic. Great service and a reasonable price.We will be back.

My absolute go-to place in Swindon and beyond. The friendliest staff and hands down my highest rated Indian takeaway (or dine-in!) I've tried. Great portions despite what I've read from other reviews, and tasty food consistently. Every time. 😛

We ordered a takeaway on Saturday evening. The food was delivered significantly later than estimated (wait was estimated to be 1 hour 20, but ended up being over 2 hours). Items were missing from our order so we then had to go back to the restaurant (defeating object of getting food delivered) to pick up missing items. On returning home- we realised we had still not received full order- only given puri and not the prawns for our starter dish. Really disappointing service. Based on other reviews, I’m not the only customer to have this poor experience. It really spoilt our evening.

100% the best place to go in Swindon for a curry, both take out and eating in the food never lets us down, the staff are always happy and welcoming and I have never had a bad meal. Highly highly recommend

Stunning food, I live 2 and half hours away, come here as working in the area. I would happily do the 270 mile round trip just to visit this restaurant.

It's a great shame to see how far this once good restaurant has fallen. Ridiculously small takeaway portions. Food missing from deliveries and complaints either ignored, or dealt with in what I considered to be an off hand, unprofessional and insulting way.We gave them 3 opportunities to address our legitimate complaints, that included photos of the tiny portions, but they chose not to.As a regular customer of this once great restaurant, we've decided to stop using them.A great shame indeed.

Was looking forward to visiting this restaurant from recommendations. Had a table for 6 and started off well enough with orders being taking for drinks etc. Then just seemed to be forgotten, took a further 40 minutes to order our mains after literally stopping a waiter in his tracks, the food arrived about 20 minutes later (which was lovely and the 2 stars given), but table service and attention to us is the worse I’ve encountered in an Indian restaurant, total disinterest. Don’t think be back anytime soon.

Not a person who enjoys Indian cuisine, was invited to Zaika Valley as advised the food was not your traditional Indian cuisine and the advice was correct.Not your normal Indian Restaurant, menu or taste. Menu had plenty of choice, including nice range of starters, plenty of fish choices, all the food is excellently presented and service first class, prices maybe slightly above what youd expect to pay at an Indian restaurant, but well worth it
