Waitrose Cafe - Swindon in Swindon

We were visiting the town to meet friends and Family and my little daughter wanted ice-cream. We normally get the mini ice-cream bars by Waitrose where live back in Warwickshire and we couldn't find those in stock in this store. One of the Partner was there and on query she told us that they are not stocking those here.Looking at my little one she gave us a box of 6 mini Magnum ice creams and said " we can't have a little one leave our store without and Ice-cream" and then wrote on the box " It's on us". We went to the till and another Partner welcomed us with such a big smile and said, please enjoy... That is customer services way above expectations...One great customer Services person, a little joyful kid and a happy Family...."THANK YOU WAITROSE & PARTNERS"

The staff are all very helpful and polite, and the shopping atmosphere/experience is the nicest I’ve found in Swindon. If you don’t mind a bit of technology, I can recommend the “Waitrose Quick Check” mobile app which allows you to scan as you shop, using your own smartphone. This is particularly helpful when using bicycle panniers, as you can fill them as you go and see how much space you have left! Plus, it makes it a quicker process in general.

Don't always shop here but when I do I love it best in the town.

Lots of free parking. Some gardening products outside. Decent sized store with an acceptable level of offerings. Impressive wine selection. Never used the cafe.

I'm really pleased they are still monitoring the number of people in store.Still good products but seems to be losing the things that make them special. No more platers and wine tasting. The cafe is closed more than its open. The bakery has gone, no Smoothy bar, and worst of all... no more coffee.

bought a pack of 12 quail eggs (boiled), - £4, only 11 inside... not happy, Waitrose standards are worse than Asda

A great store lots of space between the isles friendly helpful staff reasonable price for shopping and plenty of car parking not too busy in the week day i would recommend visiting hear to do you’re shopping

A brilliant adventure for me and my family. The rooms are brilliant and totally immersive. The challenges were fun and needed some thought.

Clean, well stocked, spacious and easy to get around as was not too busy. Staff were friendly and helpful and lots of discounted bargains to be had, only downfall was gaining entry to the car park as currently lots of building work going on around the store.

Lovely wide, clean aisles, kind and helpful staff. Good selection of quality products. And, in these times, they count people as they go in ensuring that the store doesn't become crowded. Plus there is the usual sanitation station at the entrance.
