restruant in Taunton was actually impressive inside, was impressed with the decor and how spotless. meals were of good standard, but not the best Italian food I've had.

Lovely clean and great choice of tables. The app makes ordering and paying so easy and straight forward. No waiting for the bill to arrive!Lots of menu choices and often a good value set menu. Staff always friendly and helpful.

Great staff very attentive. The food was OK. Very overpriced for what it was. You are paying for the "Ask" name and I'm sure there are other great smaller Italian restaurants rather than a "brand"

Well... I have to agree with negative reviews regarding slow service... we ordered our meals pretty quick but we were waiting far too long firstly for drinks and then for starters. Our main meals have arrived over 35min after starters. People next to us ordered calzone not long after us and they managed to finish them before our mains have arrived (we ordered also one calzone and pasta with prawns and crayfish). Waitress didn’t come even once to check if we are ok or if we would like to order any desserts. My partner went to the bar to check if he can pay the bill as again we were waiting for more than 15min for someone’s attention. I give two stars only because food was ok, however overpriced. My partner didn’t enjoy his chicken calzone but he liked his starter. We left the place annoyed as we felt that we waisted there too much time for no reason. I don’t think that we will go to any of ASK Italian restaurants any time soon.

A tasty lunchtime meal that was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was also nice to sit in and the staff were very friendly.They were fairly limited on the ingredients available on a Friday afternoon so only 4 stars from me on this occasion.I'd happily go back and eat there again though.
