Treated ourselves to a pre Christmas prosecco in very relaxed surroundings. A welcomed break to our Christmas shopping.

Expensive but free WiFi. In a time warp English hotel ambiance,slightly tired.

Well cooked food but quite traditional (I'd prefer a more exciting menu). Service very welcoming. Cocktails weren't great.

Iv come to this restaurant 4 times now and it is the nicest place to eat, that I know of. suburb menu and service thank-you for another fantastic evening. See you soon

Sadly the restaurant didn't have our booking, which was made several months in advance given that it was for a 60th birthday celebration, the excellent reputation of the restaurant and the time of year. Wine was very disappointing, very expensive, for supermarket quality products. Food wasn't very hot, however it was amazing. Service was lacking, more attention being paid to hotel guests, had to pour our own wine a couple of times, which shouldn't be the case in a restaurant of this calibre.
