Duende in Taunton Deane

We were lucky enough to experience Duende’s “at home” service. Tim is extraordinary; the food was utterly superb, and we’d recommend it wholeheartedly. His home-cured salmon was a particular highlight; ‘utterly fabulous. Well done and thank you Tim.

Tim’s food is incredible.He came over to our cottage and cooked an amazing 7 course taster menuUsing the freshest ingredients Tim combines ingredients into unique flavours.Very well balanced and would thoroughly recommend Tim and Duende.

One of those meals we won’t forget. Tim is both an artist and a chef. Thank you for the feast, each course was incredible.

Booked for the taster menu as a late valentine treat. The food was excellent and the service very good. It was a set menu and we felt the 30 minute wait before our first course to be a little long. It certainly is fine dinning and it's probably more our fault than there's, but if the idea of a taster menu is to leave you wanting more then it worked we left still hungry! But very impressed with the food we had.

This place is fantastic! We had the 5 course tasting menu and stayed here for over 3hrs.I booked here as the food Olivier Certain creates is absolutely stunning! We have eaten at his previous restaurant and came here as he moved here recently.Relaxed calm environment with great service and information from the staff.Great selection of wine and drink and we left very very happy after a fantastic evening.Definitely recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous game tasting menu. Some of the 7 courses to die for! Jolly atmosphere and great service.Just one thing. I like proper linen napkins when enjoying such a quality meal. If you don’t want to go down that path then just invest in top quality paper ones!

Fantastic food and great service. Had a lovely gin and passion fruit cocktail.We both had the duck, which was delicious, soft and melt in the mouth. Will definitely be recommending to friends and going back.

A fabulous find. Friendly service and lovely food. We had the scallops, followed by the what is probably the best lamb I have ever had. It’s all very locally sourced, too. Very new business, I wish them all the best.
