eat the bird in Taunton Deane

After trying the restaurant in Exeter we thought we'd try the one in Taunton as well and it did not let us down. Excellent food yet again, by far the best meals we've ever had. I tried the 'Double Dip' and my God that gravy was just on another level good! Overall a great experience twice now.

Burgers are OK, chips not that great, could have better options, like sweet potato fries or wedges. Salad pretty rubbish. Or upgrade chips to dirty ones?Mac and cheese is more like pasta, wasn't impressed with that part of the order, at all.Gravy not the best tasting, bit over powering herb flavour. No desert menu.Could do way better, not sure I will rush back.Nice location, but building work going on, so I am sure the area will improve once that's finished.Overall pretty disappointing.

Another great visit to Eat The Bird! We had 4 different burgers and everyone enjoyed theres. The dirty Ronald is a classic and just great! Mac and cheese is my favourite and love the change to mini cheddar topping. Can't wait to come back soon

The staff were really friendly and helpful and didn't mind at all when we changed our minds goin from sitting outdoors to inside. The food was great but the sizes were huge! Tasty but huge 🤤

Good quality chicken breast burgers in a range of different presentations. Licensed to serve alcohol. Unfortunately, the bench seating is not that comfortable and doesn't encourage staying for long.

Very tasty food with quick and friendly service. All the staff were approachable and helpful. Cocktails homemade and very tasty. Price not too bad considering how much food you get, and how good it is!

We were served by Jake and Alisha, they were absolutely lovely and super friendly and chatty. They were the perfect servers. I called up earlier in the day to see if I had to book a table and Jake was very helpful. We will definitely be back :)))

£70 for 3 of us and left thinking I should've went to KFC. Had the gravy burger which was just pure salt. So I couldn't finish that, chicken tenders had a strange dusting on them which I can only describe as the same texture of the dusting on a chocolate truffle. Really strange so they got left too. The Chicken Kiev fries however were unreal. Wouldn't bother going again tbh

Visited tonight with my wife after hearing good reviews from friends and our visit did not disappoint us. The staff were friendly and very efficient and the food was spot on and the milkshake was lush👌 Couldn't fault the cleanliness of the place either.
