Guddi & Gikki in Taunton Deane

Fantastic food, lovely family run restaurant - with delicious food and professional friendly service. They went above and beyond for accommodating a large group, helpful for people who had dietary requirements too. Would recommend highly!

I came here during the summer of 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. The food is distinctive, and delicious. Even a few years on, I still remember it vividly. I am pleased to see from the other reviews that Guddi and Gikki is still going strong.

Genuinely one of the loveliest Indian meals I’ve ever had.We discovered this by accident a few years ago and had to visit again when back in Taunton.

Since having a take away from here during lockdown we have been wanting to visit in person. It did not disappoint our expectations!The food was exceptional and presented in a beautiful fun way. It was full of flavour and felt very authentic. I particularly enjoyed the range of sweets at the end of the meal! Have been spreading the word about this gem of a restaurant.

Such amazing food and accomodating staff.Probably the most authentic food I've had since being in India. Absolutely delicious!And just because myself and my friends were wearing party hats they brought over some ice cream and a dessert for my friends birthday, even though we didn't mention it at all.They are such lovely people and the food is more than 5 star. I will be back for sure and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Best curry restaurant I've found by a long way, not encountered anywhere else that makes such delicious curries as Guddi and Gikki and they're always consistently fantastic. Extremely filling portion sizes too and so full of flavour! The staff are great and super friendly too

We love Indian food and have been lucky enough to eat at some of the UK's best Indian restaurants as well as in India itself. I took my wife out last night to G&G for the first time for her birthday 02/02. All I can say is WOW! The food, the service and the surroundings all get a perfect 10 from us - which NEVER happens - thank you for providing the tastiest Indian food we have had for a long time - we will be back - keep up the good work!

After wanting to visit for years, we finally found the time to visit and were not disappointed.This isn't your average curry. The flavours were all amazing, everything was super fresh and the chutneys that came with the popadums were epic.It is a little pricey, and don't expect the normal "English Indian takeaway' portion sizes. This is proper homemade Indian, but it's worth it.Only niggle was the food coming out extremely quickly, and the staff gossiping behind the bar (obviously normal and totally fine) but maybe not when there is a table literally right in front.

We had an absolutely wonderful meal at this restaurant..what a gem. We are from Bristol and no restaurant has ever come close to our home fav restaurants in the Midlands or even Southall or even Punjab for that matter.Great ambience.
