Jade Gardens in Taunton Deane

Hopeless. Ordered at 7pm with a 1hr wait. Rang at 8.25 and it was just about to leave. Finally received 8.55! This was for one main, one rice, spring rolls and bag of chips! This isn't the first time so won't bother again! Better customer service out there!

JG are polite and obviously inundated with home deliveries. Excellent Chinese home delivery service and more importantly good food. Cannot understand those that give bad reviews because they don’t take cash. Get a cheque book or pay over the phone etc etc.LOL.

The Food is good but their policy on cash only is wrong in this pandemic/time. We ordered then spent nearly an hour trying to find some where in Taunton that had cash! They phoned me and asked me where I was, I suggested they changed their ‘no cards’ policy! Why in this day and age do they only take cash? I won’t be going again and we’ve been good customers for over 20 years.

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY!!Specifically told them I needed sweet snd sour dish to be gluten free. They ‘checked’ and agreed. 1am started to have extreme pain sickness / diarrhoea and was fainting / going into shock, couldn’t speak was in so much pain. Following day was still in pain and feeling very unwell due to my dish that I’d specifically asked them to be gluten free, actually contained gluten. This is so so dangerous to ignore an allergy information that they’d been given. They advertise that they are friendly towards any ‘dietary requirements’ - they’re definitely not.

Very nice food, collected and lovely.

Very variable quality between dishes. Some tasty - some bland. Satay tofu didn't taste of much at all., but sweet and sour veg was good.The food was ordered online, but I rang restaurant to check food was vegan and was assured that yes it was. Rice had egg in it. Rang restaurant again and was told it was OK. No it's not!In the end they sent fresh rice out, but won't be ordering from here again. I wouldn't be able to trust them to be honest about the food.

Food here would be good if only they gave you it hot .(with fresh chips.)Third time I’ve had sweet and sour king prawn , previous two times the sauce has been Luke warm and almost a lump of jelly , so heated it up myself ,This week I specifically asked that the sauce was hot , unfortunately it was again, just a lump of Luke warm set jelly nearly all the way through, the rice only just warm and the chips had been reheated, (part reheated in a microwave I suspect,the fact they came in a paper bag placed inside another gave it away ,Collected this meal just after they opened so getting reheated chips is a chance you take.The prawn balls were ok hot and freshAs the rest of the meal should have been,Will not be going to Jade Garden again.Also they only accept cash .Quite dear so should be sending out fresh cooked quality hot food .

Forgot 3 items from the order. No apology. Still charged for missing food. The food that we got was decent, but fairly unremarkable. Unfortunate, as Jade Garden used to taste wonderful and have great service, but isn’t what it used to be.

Very enjoyable food. I ordered various dishes and each tasted uniquely different, was all very fresh the meats were tender was very impressed with my takeaway tonight.
