Papa's Taste in Taunton Deane

Waited far too long for our mains, only to be told that they had given it to someone else. We were forced to re-order and wait further. The food was good, however these mistakes aren't acceptable.

Such a wonderful restaurant. The food was lovely for all members of our party and the team made the occasion extra special for my birthday. Thank you very much!!

Amazing food. I am from Cyprus and the food’s quality is as good as it is in Cyprus. Authentic and fresh.I always order from just eat and it does not give you the option to leave a tip for the restaurant/driver. I was wondering if this could be something that could be set up in the future 😊

Great food with big portions, all well-priced, I had the lamb suvlaki plate. I Would definitely recommend, so nice to have good Greek food in Taunton

Unfortunately disappointing. We visited for the first time today and they must have been short staffed as were served by one of the chefs instead of a waitress/waiter which made the transaction a little slow. We each had the burgers, the buns were dry and felt cheap (the ones that crumble in your hands), burger itself was okay but nothing outstanding and chips were clearly from frozen.I ate all due to being hungry but my other half left the majority. The atmosphere and the decor is really nicely finished but the music was the same track over and over which at some point made it a little irritating.

Absolutely love papa taste!! Gyros is my ultimate favourite, tzatziki is amazing. Only let down is chips get a bit soggy. Maybe say for delivery to separate them and wrap them in a bag or different containers that they won't get soggy. But apart from that I absolutely love this place, highly recommended and also recommend to people!

Amazing food every time. Fantastic service and prices. The skepasti (pictured) is my favourite dish but there is so much variety on the menu to cater for everyone. An authentic taste of greece in the heart of Taunton. A must try.

Went twice this week there with two different friends. Both of them absolutely loved it! Food was very tasty and portions are amazing! And it's impressive how just one person handles everything, cooking, sitting/greeting people, cleans tables plus deals with takes aways. Both girls that work there are living legends!

Authentic Greek cuisine in the heart of Taunton.Run by a lovely Greek family determined to do Greek food the way it's meant to be done.I simply can't recommend the place enough. If you haven't already tried it, what are you waiting for?

Really good Greek souvlaki! The real deal!The place has a good variety of what we find in Greece in a similar place, and the quality of the meat and other ingredients is top!Staff is always with a smile and friendly.Feels like back home and I love IT!
