Pitcher & Piano - Taunton in Taunton Deane

No problem with staff, but every chicken dish I tried to order at the table said it was unavailable.So I ordered fish.I was having lunch with my daughter for my birthday and didn't want any hassle looking for somewhere else. The Pitcher and Piano had a nice outdoor area as the sun was shining.Not long after I placed and paid for the order, a server came to tell me that there was no fish.To say I wasn't happy was an understatement.Staff were very polite and I fully explained that I was not frustrated with them.It was a problem with the ordering app as when the manager looked on his device, all of the chicken dishes were in stock (but not the cod).He offered a refund for my part of the meal.I had the P&P chicken sandwich from the lunch menu (only two options to choose from) which was slightly burnt underneath.All in all not a great birthday lunch experience, but I will say the staff were very helpful

Only visited for cocktails but service and drinks were excellent. Have to appreciate it takes time to make cocktails so our fault for ordering so many! New decor is great and love the pink comfy Booth. You lost a star as all your cocktails aren't on the 2 for 1 deal, so a bit misleading signage outside to lure you in. Rectify and don't be tight!

Jade was very accommodating and refilled us regularly on our bottomless brunch. One of my friends is pregnant and she was very understanding and offered a non alcoholic bottomless brunch also which was really nice. Overall would 100% recommend and jade made my friends birthday a day to remember.

Great friendly service. Good 241 deal on cocktails, good menu and the food was lovely. Table service was slow hence why I have out 4/5. The new decor is lush, but they have removed to many tables

Had an amazing time at pitcher with my girls! Was a great catch up. The guy behind the bar Peter I think his name was, was very helpful and always had a smile on his face! Made the evening very joyful! Drinks were great too!

Only great things to say about this place. Whether you're there for the food or the drinks you're in for a great experience. I recently attended a bottemless brunch & the staff we're beyond brilliant. Pete was very attentive and took care of our every need. Top Stuff.

Been here twice this week. Lovely professional staff. Very attentive I asked for hot water for my baby's bottle. They assisted me on both occasions. Very friendly vibe. Food was delicious 😋 found my new hangout once they finish refurbishment. Spacious too with covid guidelines. Thank you all.

Table of 14. Delayed Xmas party. Everything ready for us including crackers. Server was delightful, nothing too much trouble. Free drinks from crackers amazing. Delicious food, served correctly as preordered.

We can't thank the staff who looked after our table. There was a party of 8. The Staff knew the names of our party and who was having which meal. The staff was busy and kept us happy. The bar staff was also inviting whilst ordering our drinks. Differently would recommend the P&P.The staff and management was great from the start of our booking onwards.
