Star Fish Bar in Taunton Deane

Walked in and really friendly, wasn't busy but not many chippys I go in that are at lunch time unless they in Town centre.Prices seem excellent, I haven't had regular chips for under £2.50 in a very long time. Reg chips and jumbo battered sausage for less than a fiver is rare now days. Chips are nice, super good portion size, sausage nice and batter was just right, not to much or too thin and nice little crunch.If I'm this way again I will stop for sure.

I love this shop but ordering with ubereat is so expensive. £9.50 for large fish and £5.10 for cheeseburger, £4.00 for large chips is extortionate so have stopped using them

Rubbish £23 pound for 2 fish and curry sauce ..where was my chips ..when I phoned u laughed 😅 at the fact uber had done a sligh one ...what a bunch of coconuts 🥥 you are...good luck ripping everyone else off ..ps your fish stunk like it was 4 days old yuk

Excellent food, especially as it was gluten free with a wide range of options available and no extra charge for this. The service was very friendly and welcoming both in person and on the phone with card payments accepted. All the gluten free food is cooked in a separate fryer, cooked fresh to order and was only waiting around 10 minutes. Highly recommended as the food was really nice, full of flavour, and not greasy at all. Was labelled as gluten free with stickers and wrapped well. If you are in the area, give it a go!!

Wonderful shop with friendly staff and great food. We have to eat gluten free so are really happy that they have a gluten free menu and that they use a separate fryer for this. That they use Ubereats is a real plus.Portion sizes are great too!

Me and my partner decided to order on Uber eats. And the best fish and chips we have had in a while. Definitely will order again! Brilliant portion sizes good prices! Good quality!!
