Friendly staff, quick service, food & drink delicious, caters for most diets & tastes, they have downstairs & upstairs seating as well as a balcony, (didn't see that as disabled)

Had such a nice lunch there recently. Chose the Eggs Royale. Lots of salmon, yummy sourdough and lashings of hollandaise. Eggs were perfectly runny. Delicious!

The hash browns are special! Very adequate coffee. Fun space with lots of places to sit. Don’t miss the enclosed patio on the second floor.

Our food took quite a while to arrive and had to bagged up and taken home - but the team were excellent. An issue outside of their control had delayed the kitchen, they explained this all clearly and quickly (they didn't make any excuses just the facts and an apology), refunded the food and bagged it up once it was ready. A possible bad experience was diverted and we left feeling positive. It would have been nicer eating in the restaurant but the food was still delicious and we look forward to our next visit. True colours show when things start to go wrong and BTP couldn't have done any better.

Was very busy, food and drinks came quickly and staff friendly, unfortunately the food was basic, barely hot and overpriced, was hoping for much more based on the reviews and pictures. The eggs and mushrooms lacked flavour and the beans and bacon very cheap quality, the saving grace was the sausage which was lovely. Overall disappointing.

Love this place. Really great food. Menu not too big so no overwhelm when choosing. Staff are amazing. Friendly, laid back, and also efficient.

Went in for a warm coffee and hot chocolate at 3.45pm and sat down...Only to met by staff member to be told the kitchen is closing soonOk but that's not really a good welcome.We try to order a salted caramel milkshake to be told there isn't any .........so we ordered a milk chocolate and a dark chocolate milkshake and a brownie. When they came out one of the milkshake was only two thirds full.We were approached again at 4.15pm saying they are closing soonWhy do they not want people to come back to their shop

We had a family breakfast this morning, absolutely superb; best breakfast in Taunton that we have had for a long time. Would highly recommend food amazing fresh and really tasty with high presentation. Children were well accomdated for good menu for kids Staff were very attentive and all with a smile especially Jill who looked after us whilst in there. And whoever altered our table leg sorry didn't catch your name you know who you are 😀 Little bit more expensive than normal but well worth it.

Excellent breakfast food with quick, courteous service in a clean bright setting! Particularly enjoyed the cornbread with the runny fried egg - highly recommend 👍

This is such a frustrating place. I KNOW the food can be good - i remember once, when everything was correct, it was arguably the nicest breakfast in town. However, its just nothing close to consistent - you never know what you are going to get.We've tried this place 10+ times and I would say that 7 times the food has been bad. The biggest offender is the temperature. I am forgiving when something is not boiling hot, but I have had it where it as less than warm. The beans especially, as they are EASY and should be like lava due to the sugar content - but i've had warm beans with cold centers.The next offender is the eggs... i don't think i've ever had a good poached egg from them on the first go. They are always hard with no runny yolk at all.If they guaranteed hot food every time (which is the least a restaurant should do), it could raise this place to a 5 star breakfast joint pretty easily.
