Great pub. Great food. Great staff. Treat yourself to a meal out you wont regret it going here.

Beautiful countryside location with a good seperated kids play area. Lovely food (especially sunday roast) and really friendly staff.

We had a lovely time. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. This was the second time we stayed here and it certainly wont be the last. Literally every aspect of our stay was spot on. The food was incredible and the small touches like a small tub of lego and colouring pencils for our young boy at the dinner table was really nice. Very clean, comfy, good facilities and overall a great stay.

I love this place. It's such a great place to go for food. I used to be local so eaten there with different friends. Every time it's been good food and everyone has been happy. Can't wait to go again but no longer local. Food is great and always a good team of staff working there. A good gin selection too.

I've stayed a number of times now which have always been so quiet and peaceful, I love it! I've had many meals which have always been amazing, they do the best brownies! I've even had my wedding there and it always gets better and better. It's always my must visit everytime I travel down from London.

Very tasty Sunday roast. Very nice apple crumble and custard. Children were very happy with their meals. Ice cream with sprinkles and marshmallow were eaten in silence!!! Service was excellent and quick. Definitely worth a visit.

Outstanding family meal at the Anchor. We wanted to meet several elderly relatives in an airy location to exchange Christmas gifts and enjoy a meal together. Staff were friendly and kind and the food was exceptional. Highly recommended.

A good value, not too over the top food menu in a comfortable pub. Particularly attentive to children with Lego and colouring in supplied at the table, and dog friendly too.

We had been looking for a local delight for some time and now we have found it. Food was excellent and Team Anchor are so friendly and welcoming. We cannot wait to return to try more items off the menu and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. Thanks so much for a amazing meal.
