Really friendly pub, staff were great. Had pork loin roast this was fab and with 2 roasts the dog got a free one. Will definitely be visiting again would highly recommend. The area and walks are beautiful

Lovely old historical hotel with lots of idiosyncrasies. We had lovely evening meal and breakfast. Staff were particularly nice and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.

Ordered a afternoon tea that arrived with honey??.... when asked for Jam a pot of marmalade arrived so afternoon tea with cream then. When asked for soya milk it was like I had asked for a gold cup. Such a lovely location. Shame the staff were in no way interested.

Lovely Room very clean good facilities. Loads of Character. Staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast very good. We never ate an evening meal here but what we saw come out looked great! Lovely short break in a beautiful little city

Loved this place. Sat outside for a drink and didn't think we'd get chance to eat here. However we met an amazingly friendly member of staff (Trina) who sorted a table for us. Had a fabulous meal and a really good night. Highly recommend this place and Trina is a real asset to your company 😂👍👍

Lovely lunch here with some old friends who recommended The Crown and glad they did. Food and service outstanding as were the beers/ciders on offer. Many thanks to the very pleasant waiter who made it a great time and kindly took a photo of the four of us. We will visit you again when next down from Woking.

Very helpful and polite staff, very welcoming. I had fish and chips which was delicious. A special mention to the manager who told us stories about the production of Hot Fuzz and the history of wells and the crown pub itself. Will definitely come again.

Pleasant pub busy but not crowded. Decent real ales and a good menu. Food was very tasty and staff were friendly

Very enjoyable 3 day break to see in the new year, the Crown was an ideal base to explore the local history and take in the many area walks.Clean, comfortable and well equipped rooms. Lovely restaurant and bar areas with very helpful, friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent and well presented breakfast and evening meals were always served up with a smile.All in a all a very relaxing and enjoyable break, thank you all.

We stayed here for a two night break and thought it very good value for money. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant ( nice decor) on our first night and had very good service and food. It was reasonably priced and the wine we chose very good.Some areas (carpets) in the hotel could do with a little TLC , but for the price we paid I have no complaint's. Our room was a lovely size and very clean, and had a bath. The breakfast was excellent. You could have a lovely fresh fruit salad before a well cooked full English. And the waitress was very attentive, offering more tea etc. We would definitely stay again. Many thanks to everyone for a lovely stay.......
