The Farmers Arms in Taunton Deane

Like many before me , I had booked a table at the wrong farmers Arms. Arriving at my intended farmers arms at Combe Florey with no booking, the young manageress, Grace, pulled out all the stops to accommodate us & we enjoyed a very pleasant meal with excellent service.Once again thank you Grace.

SERVICE WAS GREATThe staff of two young ladies were lovely; friendly, courteous and welcoming. The landlady who answers the phone was not, so much so that we almost didn’t visit for that reason. The menu and beer selection was good but wish there was more vegetarian options.I’ll come again and will certainly give the staff a good service tip as they really deserve it.

Wow lost for words! I haven't seen a menu as impressive or eaten food as delicious since pre-covid times! The venison and oxtail was divine as were the parfait and meringue desserts. Really good atmosphere and lovely owners. I cannot wait to return and highly recommend.

We were staying up the road and saw good reviews for this place so we just popped in for a drink Thursday late lunch and was lucky enough to to book a table for that evening! The pub had a lovely feel to the place with a nice atmosphere and decorated tastefully, They were very accommodating to us, when it come to moving tables around to fit us in with our little ones, The food was outstanding and we would go back! Staff were friendly, chatty and nothing was a bother, had a lovely chat with the owner as well. thank again!

A great little pub full of character and personality serving great food

Stayed in the area for Christmas week with family and fortunately for us The Farmers Arms was the local pub.Visited several times in the week as it was such a friendly place to be. Great locals (thanks to Pete & Jules in particular for making me feel so welcome) and friendly staff.The dog & I enjoyed a few happy hours by the roaring wood burner.On Boxing Day they fired up the outdoor pizza oven, and the kids and I enjoyed tasty freshly baked pizzas under patio heaters. It was really busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying the food.Thanks to Jane and the team for looking after us all so well.Hope to be back soon!

Wonderful surprise. Haven't been for years but has been renovated wonderfully. So cosy, wooden beams, wooden tables, two.log fires. Also the food is really good and a good choice on menu. All freshly cooked and it shows! Outdoor space great with thatched huts and heaters.

Lovely cosy restaurant. All staff attentive and welcoming. Food was tasty, hot and there was plenty of it. Will definitely be going again.

ive lived in the area 4yrs and never new the pub was tucked away in the corner next village along from me.the staff were very friendly.the food was delicious.stunning old thatched property.i will definately be back to sample more of the menu.

Brilliant Sunday lunch at a really nice venue. Food was great and well cooked. Excellent value for money. Staff and service were spot on. Highly recommend.
