Great little cosy pub with good food & drinks. The lady behind the bar was welcoming and lovely. She even gave our dog a huge chunk of ham from the kitchen! Would definitely go again!

Proper pub!Been meaning to visit for ages as we live down the hill but was closed throughout lockdown and beyond. Glad to see it open now.Will definitely be a regular stop off on the way home from a ride or a walk up in the Blackdowns.Only stopped off for a drink but they have good outside seating and a good selection of beers, ales and cider, with good value too. Will have to come back for food at some point.

Has got to be my favourite pub. All staff so welcoming and helpful, the food is 5 star, and the setting and diversity of friendly people I have met there just makes this pub the most unique gem.

Doesnt look much from outside, but go in!! Good real ales, great food, a huge fire and a friendly welcome await in this proper country pub. Highly recommended

Awesome Little dog friendly pub found next door to our Campsite Warm Welcome and even warmer fire roared, food was absolutely brilliant! With a fantastic choice of Ciders!

Great drinking pub especially on a Friday, sometimes awesome live music too that really brings the pub to life. Lovely food to if the Korean Burger is on the menu give it a try! Owners are gems

We stayed two nights, attending a wedding locally. Marie couldn't do enough for us. Everyone was so accommodating. Beautiful setting, amazing food. The accommodation was soo comfortable with little touches of real coffee, fresh orange juice and fresh milk in the fridge. I would highly recommend. It's a beautiful, old and incredibly busy pub with a wonderful atmosphere. Hospitality, second to none 👌😁

Lovely little place with fairly new owners who were very easy to talk to. Amazing food, had haddock and chips and chicken supreme. A place we have passed by for many many years but never stopped at. We will be back to try out the Sunday roast next. Normal prices for quality and professionally presented meals.

Food really good, staff very busy and pleasant. Bit disappointed with beer selection but overall a lovely pub, would recommend.
