Just spent 2 nights at The New Inn. How nice to be in this local community pub with the great atmosphere, good food and friendly cheerful staff. Nice comfy room and great value for money. Thank you for looking after us Lucy. Jane and John ( The Tinkers ) x

It's very nice and the food was fine. We had Sunday lunch but I think it was a bit overwhelming for children. It would be better if the not plain veg were brought in a serving dish really. The chocolate mousse was lovely and the staff were great. I'd happily go back.

What a brilliant service they catered for 11 of us. The food was superb they even did specific toasts for the kids with cooked and uncooked carrots. The girls serving were polite and smiled. We loved being there and will go again.

Stumbled upon this little gem by accident but what a great find. Food was lovely, staff were great and very attentive. Only downside is the size of the carpark but there is parking in the street so will definitely return.

Stayed at The New Inn for 2 nights, last week. I got chatting to the manager (really friendly and welcoming) and she explained abit of background to the place. Think its a fantastic project and great to see the community being involved with the pub. It has really been nicely refurbished and the rooms are very comfortable. The only "slight" critism if I had one is the cooked food looks lovely however the breakfast is continental and as a staying guest it would have been nice to have had the option to have cooked food for breakfast. Well worth a visit and my only reason for a 4 star is the point about breakfast.
