"A traditional pub, that’s been serving you since 1858! Real ales, ciders and much more to offer. We have a great Burger Menu with burgers and chips both supplied by local businesses . It’s a proper burger and chips better than you had when homemade! Children and pet friendly! We do ask dogs are kept on leads and owners clear up after them and take full responsibility. We have a Lovely beer garden , with plenty of seating and umbrellas for shade. Whatever the weather it’s perfect for a cold pint of lager and a laugh with friends! We look forward to your visit and we can’t wait to .....See you all soon. Simon & Debbie"

Just popped in for a quick drink middle of a walk.Nice welcome. Sat by the fire. Could have stayed all afternoon.

Feels like a bit of a "locals" pub but we were welcomed and the landlord offered to cook for us if we indeed wanted food! What a result, probably the best burger I've had in a looooong time! If you're there, take the Rodeo Burger and don't look back; tasty, chunky as hell and served with the nicest chips I've had in a while, no frozen potato here! Doggo friendly too :-)

We had a lovely meal here last night, then stayed for a couple pints. The food was really great and was a lovely atmosphere. Staff and owner are really inviting and welcoming. Can't wait to go back!

We visited the old Inn for our first night out at a pub , there was plenty of space to sit socially distanced for others , service was great and fast , and the burgers were amazing!!! , and small play area for the children is great too , would definitely recommend!!

Very friendly, and the food & drink was nice enough. The car park can be tricky to find and, on our Wednesday lunchtime visit, food took a little while as they were struggling a bit with the logistics. But we were able to dine in without a reservation 🙂

Called in for a drink after an afternoon of waiting for my mum to be seen at the hospital. Given a very warm welcome by the landlady and landlord. Looks like a lovely local pub

Lovely atmosphere, staff were so nice friendly polite, food was fantastic. Roast beef was so tasty. Hope to come back. We went back later and what a difference. The young man serving on the Sunday afternoon was so nice. The woman serving in the evening not so. The atmosphere changed. Nothing to make you want to go back. Shame.

Great food..seriously large portions and priced very reasonably. If you like Thatchers cider you'll not leave. Fun staff and locals. Worth a visit!

Disappointing & embarrassing.I had enjoyed a great meal with great service on a previous visit on 4 October. Therefore, I recommended the Old Inn for my sister’s birthday meal. What a letdown! The service was indifferent and upon ordering our meals it began to feel as though we were in an episode of Fawlty Towers! There were 11 of us and we were the only customers in the dining room.Initial order went through, shortlyafterwards we were told there were only 4 gammon (we’d ordered 5). Half an hour later we were informed that their was no salmon (2 orders), but cod in tomato based sauce with new potatoes & veg was offered as an alternative. We were therefore surprised when 4 potions of battered fish & chips arrived ( only 1 ordered) with cold french beans & pathetic excuse for salad garnish. The 2 salmon orders hadn’t wanted batter or chips - but no alternative or apology offered. The ‘cod’ was haddock with batter that tasted of old oil.Drinks: limited choice of soft drinks and ran out of cider whilst ordering our second round. At no time did the staff seem faintly interested. This is such a shame as we had hoped that Bishops Hull would once again have a decent pub that provided good food. The building has been given a facelift, I hope that the stock & service will improve also.We may have caught them on a bad night, but the empty dining room must attest to something.

Pleasant atmosphere, staff attentive but appeared surprised to have customers in the restaurant. Food was nice, well presented and tasty. Good beer. I would come here again.
