The Rising Sun Inn PH in Taunton Deane

Was staying at the local campsite and decided to have an afternoon walk with the dogs . Found this pub was only stopping for a quick drink ended up staying for food , in the bar area with the dogs.Owner and staff really friendly.Food was lovely and fresh ,would definitely return if in that neck of the woods again .

Slow service had to wait 45 minutes for main course after having starter. Meet was ok rest of main course not good. Creme Brulee was miniature, Not worth a second visit.!!!!!!

Our favourite pub/restaurant in Somerset. Amazing food, well presented and the best most friendly staff. We go every few weeks and always take our friends. Highly recommend.

We are here just for weekend and so happy that we have found this really nice pub. Everyone is so friendly not just staff but locals as well.I'm terms of food, we have been absolutely pleasantly surprised! It was great, my partner she never has desert but last night after 2 beautiful courses she said she has to order desert and wasn't disappointed.Very nice service thank you girls👏👏👏Bravo to the owner🕺🍾

We stopped for a meal on Saturday afternoon with a large group of adults, kids and a dog. They were super accomodating, despite us not booking. Everyone liked the food. Lovely historic pub in a great location.

We found out about this pub by chance on Google and decided to book a table for Sunday Lunch. The pub is a charming, friendly village pub with outstanding service and the food was delicious. My Mum & I were so impressed with the overall experience. Not only will I be recommending the pub but I will definitely go back

We visited twice whilst on Holiday nearby, on both occasions ELLIE WAKEMAN made us feel that we were the one and only customers that were in the Pub. The meals we had were excellent and the portions were ample. I can personally recommend the Scallops and the Steak and the Fish and Chips. If there was a pub like this near to where I live I would be in it every day.

We love it here! Never any complaints - great food, great staff, great atmosphere. The menu has a large range of choices to cater for all, whether you're looking for a light bite or salad or indeed something larger and a bit fancier. Special mention to our waitress who helped me choose out of the wonderful plethora of tasty options! Can't wait to be back :)
