The Stonegallows Inn in Taunton Deane

I’ve not been here in years and todays visit was very pleasant. All but one table was free, more reserved than had people actually using them but we were given the last available table by a helpful polite young lad. The menu was varied and when it arrived we all said it looked much better than we had imagined. Prices were very reasonable, a burger and soft drink was £13. I will definitely go again!

It was my mothering Sunday treat !! From my daughter and son in law. Excellent service ,fabulous meal.such a choice was hard to choose!! The presentation, second to none. Thoroughly recommend it.cant wait to go again.

Came in for breakfast this week with two vegetarians and a vegan. The manager double checked the ingredients in the veggie sausages and bread both of which were vegan. My vegan dad was really happy with the breakfast. Veggie sausages really tasty. Great breakfast, hot and arrived promptly. Friendly staff, good value, will be back!

We were cheerfully greeted by a member of staff who kindly showed us to our table. There is a fantastic variety of meals on the menu, including lots of brilliant daily offers! There was a great atmosphere in the pub, both in the family and adult dining area. The food service was very prompt and tasted delicious, would definitely recommend visiting here!

I was overwhelmed with how much food turned out from my order. but it was a very delicious meal. and the burger I had was absolutely the biggest burger I've ever had in my life and one of the tastiest. seating was no problem and the friendly staff made us very welcome.

Fast service, bit too fast from ordering which makes me nervous how the food is cooked!! Ordered 2 big plates which were fine but the dirty fries were not great. Small portion and minimal sauce. Price good and staff good.

Very nice atmosphere, kind staff and very well presented and nicely cooked steak. Used to go as kid with my parents 10 years ago...nice to see nothing has changed (only now it's not j20s more a Thatcher's person now) and it's still as good as it always has been! Brilliant classic pub. 10/10.

Went for brunch and had the breakfast in bread. The staff were lovely and friendly and happily swapped out ingredients for the meat free version as we are vegetarians.Really well priced and the children's outdoor play area was nice with the exception of a part being broken meaning no access to the slide.Only downsides were the broken play park and a weird smell on entering. But this wouldn't stop us visiting again.

Lady who served us was lovely. Meal was good value for money although steak was a little grizzly but my dog enjoyed those bits when we got home! Gave a doggy bag to put it in too which was nice of them! Waitresses were very pleasant. Nice meal enjoyed by all. :)

I love this place. The food is good and doesn't take too long. They have a play park for children and outside benches aswell. Lots of car parking spaces. Staff are very friendly. Take bookings online. We use the app to order our food and never had problems.
