This is the best of a British country pub you could ever find. Staff are superb and the food they serve everyone working there should be proud off. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Great old rustic country pub feeling and the most amazing pub garden to enjoy whatever you fancy. BRILLIANT!!

First time since its been taken over ..and I must admit it was amazing .... lunch was first class .... tasty fresh and excellent . Service was so attentive .... atmosphere was friendly and buzzing ..cant wait to return 👍🥂👍

Friendly & attentive staff, lovely atmosphere, & wonderful food. Great service, even the chef came out to ask how we liked the food, you can't get better than that. Definitely recommend The Swan & would go again. Thank you all for an enjoyable lunch.

Excellent food. A little unfortunate to be sitting next to the unlit fire - a bit of a draught down the chimney, so a bit chilly. Not enough to stop us going back, but would ask for a different table.

Ritually brilliant.. the friendliness of the staff.. the food.. all just excellent. We went for a lunchtime pint and then dinner. We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. There were five of us and every person was so impressed. The food is really great pub fare. I had the steak our and ate every lost morsel. Friends had the steak and scampi. All cooked perfectly. Thoroughly recommend!

I went to this pub the 1st time with my son & his family for Sunday roast. It was a very good roast dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wonderful experience, dining to celebrate our engagement. Food was amazing, as was the service, and reasonably priced too. Nice atmosphere, but (and not the pub's fault) when we walked in it was like a scene from the Slaughtered Lamb (remember American Werewolf In London?) where everything stopped and we were stared at! Slightly uncomfortable but soon resolved by finding our table. Manager/owner was lovely, and the waitress too, engaging us in conversation without being too pushy. My fiance's ham, egg and chips was very good, but my pie was perhaps the best handmade pie I'd eaten! A thoroughly enjoyable evening, one we hope to replicate very soon. Thank you guys, it was great!

Lovely and cosy beautiful place. Really good food, waiting time below average, helpful and polite staff. Definitely recommend
