This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Such an idilic spot and they stayed open past closing for me on a Saturday which was a good send. Also really good earl grey tea and a generous amount of it too.

This is my favourite place for Devon cream tea. It is in Dartmeed on Dartmore National Park. Worth visiting this place if in Devon.

Never disappoints!Friendly staff and lovely freshly prepared food. I always pop in my heading through Devon, I love the 'moor and it's atmosphere.Plenty of seating available inside and outside on the day, but it does get busy here.Dog friendly, water bowls also provided outside for your furball to keep hydrated.

Tranquil spot on the banks of the glorious river East Dart, always thought it looked fabulous with goats, hens and peacocks and plenty of outdoor seating. This visit we got back from our walk in time to enjoy two delicious ploughman's lunches and creamy hot chocolates. Family run and the better for it. Dogs welcome on leads, ours slipped her collar in excitement after seeing the peacocks but was swiftly recovered.

Always cheerful staff and owners with an absolutely beautiful location right beside the river. They have a decent menu and cakes and they use a lot of locally sourced food. Gluten free, vegan and veggie normally an option too. Also peacocks, goats and chickens happily puttering around! Its a great stop for lunch, no phone service for your mobile and normally okay parking. This time their parking was shut so we had to park in the paid parking outside which is ample. It did involve a nice, flat walk up the drive to get there. They also have brilliant covid precautions in place, spread tables, masks and hand washing stations...oh and if you need the toilet their toilets are lovely.

Day out on the Moor stopped off for a coffee at Badgers Holt, what an idyllic setting ...lots of parking, walked to the cafe, lots of outdoor seating and what looked to be plenty of indoor seating as well, we had a ham hock panni and the home made tomato and basil soup both very good.. and pots of tea .. nice quick service, beautiful location and and friendly peasant wandering about ...what more could you want 😁

Superb! An absolute gem tucked away on Dartmoor! Rustic chips probably the best I have ever tasted! Good menu and fresh cakes etc. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Would highly recommend...worth a drive!

Awesome, rainy day walking so much needed respite from the rain. Excellent vegan options, and delicious! Amazing friendly staff, and very clean facilities. Can't wait to go again.
